The food itself was actually good once it finally arrived. However, the service was extremely poor. We ordered the all-you-can-eat wings and waited a very long time just to get the first round. During the wait we had to repeatedly wave down our waitress just to get basic things like drink refills. She was very short with us the entire time and seemed irritated whenever we tried to get her attention.
Because the service was so slow, I even decided not to order another beer since it was already taking so long to get anything.
When the bill came, we left a small tip because the service simply did not reflect good service. As we were leaving the restaurant, the waitress actually ran outside in the pouring rain and yelled “Don’t ever come back again!” at us in front of everyone. I have never experienced anything like that at a restaurant in my life.
We called the restaurant and spoke with a manager, but the situation was basically brushed aside after the waitress claimed she had done nothing wrong.
It’s unfortunate because the food was decent, but being treated like that by staff and then dismissed by management makes it very hard to ever consider returning.
I would genuinely like to hear from the owner or someone in upper management about this situation, because behavior like that toward paying customers should never be acceptable in any restaurant. I hope the ownership takes this seriously and addresses it.
My husband and I went there to meet friends for drinks last night. The atmosphere was nice. Especially out on the patio. I loved the beach vibe.
“Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients & make sure each dish is done the right way. The (European janjetina) was especially memorable. Must try!”
WE DROVE FROM CONNECTICUT & WE WILL BE BACK!
“I had a grilled chicken salad & I know sounds plain but hands down best salad I had with the fresh & crisp lettuce! Each bite was a delight.
“From drink & appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations!
“If you’re a foodie like me & also picky when it comes to how clean the place you are eating is then you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, & we loved everything we tried. We only had good comments about the food. I can’t wait to come back again!”
“The menu offers a wide variety of options, & everything we tried was delicious.
We started with the fried sampler platter. It was loaded with onion rings, mushrooms, jalapeños poppers, and fried pickles. excellent and hot.
My husband had the NY strip medium rare with salad and green beans. He enjoyed his meal also had a beer.
I had the prime rib queen cut. Rare. The meat was little more cooked than I liked but the meat was seasoned well and tasted good. I had a salad and mashed potatoes with gravy.
Our meals came out hot and in good time. Our server was on the spot. All in all a good time!
Personally I think the place needs a total re-do. Decor is out of date.
Food – I ordered the lamb gyro and a cup of cream of crab soup.
The lamb in the gyro was too think and too much. Ruined it for me.
You’re supposed to be able to taste every part of the gyro. The meat overtook it. The tzatziki sauce was bland. $10 for this ‘Big’ Gyro, no side, no chips. Nothing. Wouldn’t get it again.
The cream of crab was so-so. The color was a bit off from what I’m used to. It too was bland. And I’ve never seen anyone put corn in cream of crab.
My husband ordered the crab stuffed flounder. The fish had a pleasant taste, but the ‘stuffed’ part was just that….just stuffing. Bread stuffing with old bay seasoning.
Chicken Corn soup was OK. I tasted it, it too was bland. The chicken was ‘ground’ up. This is not how you make a chicken corn soup. It should have pieces of chicken, that you can ‘see’. And should have a rich, chicken flavor.
The server was pleasant.
