I stopped by Jorge’s Cantina for a quick solo supper and really enjoyed the atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted everyone with genuine enthusiasm. It’s a festive environment. They even brought out birthday tequila shots for the table behind me while I was eating.
I ordered the Burrito Gringo, chips, salsa, and a Coke. The total with tax and tip was around $20, which is great value for the portion size. The burrito was massive and could easily feed two people.
If you want large portions, fair prices, and a welcoming staff, this is a great spot.

We absolutely adore this place!! Whenever I’m visiting my family (I live in Denver), we always make it a point to come here. Not only are the food and drinks phenomenal, so are the people who work here. Everyone just seems to love their job. It’s such a warm welcoming atmosphere, you cannot help but enjoy your self while you’re here. Do yourself the best favor you’ve ever done, and check this place out! You will not regret it!

I can’t say enough about Jorge’s—the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere are all top notch. From the very first time you walk in the door, you are treated like family. The level of appreciation they have for their customers is above any other business I have encountered.
It’s also incredibly refreshing to see how much the employees genuinely love their jobs and the joy they bring to serving others. Adults and kids alike are welcomed equally, which makes it such a great place for families.
The food is always delicious. The fajitas come out sizzling hot, the beef quesadillas are full of flavor, and our son’s love of french fries is still happily met at Jorge’s. In fact, I tell everyone that the best french fries are actually at my favorite Mexican restaurant! They really are that good.
We can’t thank Jorge’s enough for consistently providing excellent food, outstanding service, and an environment that truly makes you feel like part of the family. Sometimes there’s a little wait, but it’s absolutely worth it—and honestly, it’s a testament to just how amazing Jorge’s is.

Found this place on Google Maps. The reviews, menu, and pictures sold it for me. We arrived and was immediately impressed with the service upon walking in, the service and food was excellent! The margaritas were absolutely on point and high quality. For the size of drinks, quality and amount of food we got, I was amazed at the price point when we got our bill! Very good experience and value for our money. I can’t wait to go back.

Every time we go to Jorge’s we know it’s going to be a great time. The staff is incredible and you can tell they love their jobs, especially Jorge who even when it’s busy finds time to chat with regulars. The place is constantly packed, even on nights you would not expect it to be. When patrons are celebrating anything they get the whole crowd involved by their enthusiasm that is unmatched by any other restaurant.

Jorge’s in Topeka KS (located on SW Fairlawn Rd and SW West Drive) is a must. Jorge greets all his diners as family or an old friend as they walk through his door. The restaurant has a vibration that encourages celebration, neighborly kindness. This is a great place to celebrate publicly an anniversary, birthday, job promotion etc. Jorge and his team will collectively share your celebration with you. You might even get a ukulele serenade by Jorge himself. He is very busy and is sure to be found talking to one or five of his diners.
Additionally Jorge serves up the best fresh margaritas. They are huge and delicious! I has the orange marg with sugar on the rim and fresh orange slices mixed in.
The restaurant is bright with lots of festive colors and pictures. If you are planning a Cinco de Mayo celebration this would be a fun place to celebrate!

Salsa and queso ordered as well. Very good.
Hector was our server. He was welcoming, very polite with a little boujy. Hector represents Jorge’s in the best way.
