Came in on the Super Bowl Sunday! Got two shots walked down to the liquor store below! Fantastic service all the way around! Fast drinks! The atmosphere was just perfect! The Bartender was so cool! The place is just popping and cool! Nothing loud it’s just relaxing and just a good night out! And super convenient because the liquor store is literally right through the door couple steps down boom! If you like Moscato they have a lot of Moscato! But what really what I liked was that the Bartender made my shot nice and cold! That was delicious!

I love and respect Racers for hosting live music!!! EXCELLENT music!! Never a cover. They pass the hat and get it done. When the weather is nice they have. A large back yard with lots of tables and space. The manager loves blues, jazz and r and b…..and he shares his passion with the entire town. Plenty of free safe parking, good food and a famous selection of beers. I drive an hour to go to this place….you should too. It’s worth the trip.

I’d driven past this place just about every day for the last five years and finally decided to stop in one Saturday afternoon back in October and wished I hadn’t waited so long to try it out. I’ve been back several times since then. The food is good with many options. Drinks are reasonably priced. Service is good. Mr. B. is cool, he’s usually tending bar if I go in the afternoon. Skip, pm bartender Tuesday to Saturday, is awesome. It’s a nice space with a game room as well as a spacious outside area. It gets pretty crowded for the live music and Ravens games. I’m not one for crowds, but I’ll go for the Ravens games because they have an oyster bar. The oysters are good and the prices can’t be beat. Half dozen oysters for $4, $8 or $12! From the menu the cheesesteak and wings are my favorites. The mac and cheese is some of the best I’ve ever had. If you like beer this place is for you. Check the pics to see their wide array of options. There’s also a wine bar and of course the fully stocked main bar. It’s now my favorite local hangout.

Huge space, amazing backyard area/feel, huge menu with tons of options(all delicious), beer selection, cool staff…clean! At 9:40pm Tuesday, I ordered freshly made side of guacamole and delicious Southwestern egg rolls! Totally hit the spot! Thank you!! Keep doing this!!

Good food is even better with the new friendly respectful owners. These guys are hard workers and you can tell they care about the customers. I recommend the Pizza and then bands are maxing . Patrons are regulars that grew up in the area very nice and cool people !!!you won’t be disappointed. Bartenders are friendly as well.

Had our high school reunion here and everything was perfect from start to finish! Communication was excellent, the accommodations were great, and having a private section with our own bartender made the night even better. Truly impressed with the staff and management!

I’ve been to this bar half a dozen times. It really could be a great bar, but I’ve found their drinks to be unusually weak. Like weak enough that I’ve wondered if I ordered the right thing, and weak enough to make me consider sending it back. I would say at best they are stingy with their pours, and at worse, scammy.
Racer’s can do whatever they want, but if I’m gonna go to a local bar I won’t go to one where the bartender measures alcohol like a scientist in a lab. Just seems super lame to me.
