Came here a couple times and usually it’s pretty good. Today was not very good. I’m sure who is on shift makes a difference but the bartender was extremely slow on drinks and nonstop sniffling the entire time I was dining I could hear her sniffling every other second. Almost seemed like they forgot about the drinks at first. I ordered chop steak on lunch menu and asked for it medium, it came pretty raw. My fault for not realizing it a chop steak was just ground beef I guess but medium still doesn’t mean raw. Not just pink but raw to taste as well. Chicken caesar wrap was also very dry and didn’t really taste like caesar. I only ate my mashed potatoes and fries. I didn’t feel confident that if I reordered it would come out much better so I took home everything as leftovers and recooked it at home. If this would’ve been my first time here I wouldn’t come back, but I do know other times it has been better. Just disappointing this time for sure.

Upon entering, the hostess was not very friendly, she definitely didn’t look like she wanted to be there. We were seated quickly, and waitress took our order in a timely manner. We were a little concerned about the food since it did take a while for it to come out, but surprisingly it was steaming hot and very good. I got a Gator Burger w/sweet potato fries and my husband had a Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The chicken sandwich was a split breast that was breaded and fried, not a chicken patty. Overall it was a good meal and if we were in the area again we would consider going back.

Stopped by today for lunch. Went to bathroom to wash hands, absolutely disgusting and unkept. Waitress seated us she was very nice, noticed how dirty the inside was, almost walked out. Ordered food, lunch special cheeseburger, $10. The burger was the smallest I’ve ever seen, lettuce looked old, the bun was 5x bigger than the cheeseburger so I basically paid $10 for bread. Kids ordered the tenders , they were stringy. She crab was good. Nothing like the at gators in Fairfield shopping center or holland road. Owner needs to clean this place up it’s disgusting and the food was awful.

Eating in with beer is good but for a family, no. My daughter didn’t even finish the chicken fingers… I’ve tried this place twice over a 3 year period. First we ate in then ordered to go. I really want to like it but.. disappointed.

Shrimp Alfredo was great. Best place in Currituck to get a cold beer and hot meal. I wish the Alfredo had a little more seasoning, personally. Briley is the best waitress and Katie is the best bartender!

Extremely Disappointing Experience:
My recent visit was a complete letdown, and it all boils down to a total lack of concern for customer satisfaction.
First, the issues with the wings were baffling. I asked for all flats and was told this was impossible because of a “rule.” This policy is truly a failure to please the customer. It’s not that hard to manage inventory; a restaurant that valued its patrons would find a solution, like a discounted “Drummet Night” to clear stock. Instead, they choose to tell customers “no” to a perfectly reasonable request. To make matters worse, my girlfriend ordered boneless wings and received bone-in wings instead. Why stop there though when we can add insult to injury and serve up a plate of burned, microwaved broccoli.
This series of mistakes and bad policies was compounded by the laughably small pour of wine she received. It was barely more than a sip, which, at their prices, is insulting.
Between the bizarre, inflexible wing policy, the wrong order, and the stingy drink pour, it’s clear this establishment isn’t focused on providing a good dining experience. I will not be returning, and I can’t in good faith recommend this place to anyone.

I guess it depends on when you come in and who’s cooking. I’ve had good food here before but tonight the tuna was over cooked and didn’t come with sauce. The shrimp tacos still had the tail on and just shrimp and coleslaw, no tomatoes or sauce. Pretty disappointing, I work in town but idk if I’ll be going back anytime soon. All I wanted was a decent meal after 16hrs of traveling, should have just went to Taco Bell and saved the $25.
