The food and service was outstanding. If you like super sweet tea, try the Thai iced tea! – just balance it out with some spicy food. The crab rangoon was 10/10!

Nice little sushi shop with a nice smaller menu. First visit. We liked everything we tried and the cashier was super nice and attentive

Oh how I crave the south Cali roll. I don’t even like fish or sushi. I dream of this stuff. It is SO good.

I have dined in here, but also picked up or ordered via door dash. Sushi is very reasonably priced with great portions. Also recently had the spring rolls and those were great too. Delivery always comes quickly!

Obsessed with their Thai tea! I just tried it for the first time and I’m so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone. It’s very sweet—but absolutely delicious! I only wish they offered a larger size because I drank it way too fast.

The rest of their menu is just as impressive. I love the hibachi and sushi, and lately, I’ve been hooked on their fresh and spicy sushi. The food and service are both excellent—you really can’t go wrong. This place is a must-try, and we’re lucky to have it in the Burlington area!

I will start by saying that for a place in a small town in Iowa, it was by far among the best I have tried……
However, just because you throw some food on a hot grill and use some Asian sauces doesn’t mean you’re serving Authentic style Asian food.

The sauce was actually really flavorful but really salty and generic. The noodles almost were good but a bit too starchy. The Chicken and “Steak” were where things took a turn for the worst. The pieces were so large that they held no flavor or sauce. I’m talking 1 1/2″ cubes. They were tough and chewy from simply the size. Meat needs to be much thinner to gather flavor in the very quick cooking process of a hot grill. NOW, that being said though, it was a really large amount of meat that would have been GREAT if it was thinner and more flavorful.

My sushi was really disappointing. I got the eel roll and had to hunt to find slivers of presumably eel in the center of a rool of mostly rice covered in unagi sauce. The pics online before coming here showed them as the more traditional style with a large piece on top of each “slice”of the roll. VERY disappointed in that roll.

Won’t be stopping in again. If anyone in Burlington needs to try good Asian, I suggest driving to the Quad Cities. Several top notch places there in a similar price range. Don’t blame yourselves for not knowing any better, but only through having excellent food can you make informed thoughts on a place like this.

My husband and I stopped in tonight about 7pm. Jenny took our order and helped us with descriptions of menu items we were unfamiliar with. We had ordered a roll Togo and on the way out at dropped it. Jenny and the staff fixed me right up!! Thank you for such a great experience!!

First time eating here at a brand new restaurant in Burlington. We had the Hollywood classic roll, the black dragon roll, and the fire department roll. They were decent sized the flavors were good I would have preferred more sauce on the sushi rolls. Service was very friendly and quick this is a fast food sushi place but everything tasted fresh and average pricing.

I feel quite confident, having had sushi from: Florida (Both Coasts), New York, New Jersey, and many other places. And today was actually my third visit since opening, so I’m finally comfortable saying this. Hoshi has some of the absolute BEST sushi rolls I have ever had the pleasure to eat.

They are reasonably priced, and offer a wide variety of sashimi (raw), tempura (fried) and vegetarian options. If you’re new to sushi, and don’t want raw, give the tempura rolls a try! If you want a safe first try with sashimi styled rolls, the Florida roll is very similar to a California roll! Want to go all out? Their specialty rolls melt in your mouth deliciously.

What I particularly appreciate is that you can purchase sides separately. So if you’re feeling under the weather, and just want a nice warm hunk of noodles?? Hoshi’s got your back. (I literally got a side of rice, didn’t think it would be so big for the cost, because of stomach pains.)

To add to it, CREAM SODA. I understand they’re a little pricey, however these are actually imported just like the Ramune. I can’t recommend them enough, especially the Mango flavor.

In the pics are the Goblin roll (I ate half of it before writing this) and the two flavors of Cream Soda.
