Meatball heaven was OK, large portions, soft bread.
The Uptown Cheese steak good flavor, tender bread good portions
Chili cheese dog was OK. Not a lot of flavor to chili.
Good size portions but we did not leave with a memorable meal. I don’t know that there will be a return visit.
First, the pizza. They claimed ti have NY Style pizza which honestly since I’m not a new yorker, I can’t comment if it is authentic. Although, the flavor of my pizza is good even though it’s a bit cold. The toppings was the right amount, the meat isn’t too salty, and the flavor is good. The dough is neither thick nor thin. It’s thick enough to not fill me up with a bunch of carbs but not the thin and crispy type.
Reuben sandwich is also good. It has a good flavor and they don’t go easy on meat. The portion of meat-sauerkraut-sauce-cheese-bread is perfect. I probably can’t say it’s the best in town but good enough that I am probably gonna order again.
Cannoli is good. The dough is crispy and the filling isn’t too sweet.
French Toast is the biggest disappointment in my opinion. The bread is thick and dense do it doesn’t absorb the milk and still chewy and taste like bread. The crust wasn’t quite there. The berry sauce tastes ok but nothing special.
Overall, this is a good restaurant. The foods, while not the best in town, considered good enough and shouldn’t disappoint you (unless you have a high expectation)
We ordered at 1:30 and they were out of pizza dough and meatballs. No big deal, we were there for pastrami and they still had some slices. After waiting for our food for a bit, they announced that they didn’t have the man power to continue operating and that they would refund those who hadn’t gotten their food yet. Disappointing, but I’m glad to see a local business greeting support rather than crappy chains. Some people are probably going to leave bad reviews about this, but don’t listen to them. They took care of everyone and gave them their remaining slices and desserts for FREE!
Every single employee was super kind and friendly. We even still got our pastrami sandwich despite them being so overwhelmed. I spent many years in the restaurant industry, and they do it right. I fully expect to see more locations pop up.
As far as the food goes, the pizza was very good and I’m typically not a fan of the NY style thin crust. It wasn’t burnt which I like. The Stromboli was delicious and garlicky. The show stopper is the pastrami though. The Enrico is huge and can feed 2. You go to a place like Jersey Mike’s and the sandwich is $15 and not that big. For $20 and a lb of pastrami, you can’t beat it. The pastrami is delicious, it has the perfect ratio of seasoning, meat and fat to make it juicy and flavorful, but not greasy. There was also not any gristle, so the quality is great. The rye was crunchy and buttery, but not greasy. I don’t like plan yellow mustard, the spicy mustard was perfect. There want an overwhelming amount and the flavor was a great compliment. If you’re not a spice fine, it’ll be fine for you, I personally would have liked it with a little more kick.
We’ll be back to try the breakfast and we’ll bring friends!
Meatball hoagie: needed to be softer, not much flavor, and the roll is too soft as well, but the chunky tomato sauce was tasty. BEC (Bacon Egg Cheese on a hard roll) was disappointing. This was no Kaiser roll or even a hard or water roll, the bread was too soft & sweet. Fried eggs needed to be less cookedon the yolk. Plus, I found egg shells.
Atmosphere tried to be cheerful raucous NY style but misses flavor.
You can’t call something NY & expect it to BE NY.

Enrico’s Deli was delicious! They have a wonderful variety of pizzas, Sandwiches, pasta, hot dogs, fries and salads. We tried the Reuben and the pepperoni pizza, both of which came out hot and fresh – so good! This restaurant really makes me feel like I’m back on the east coast with the smells and interior decoration.
Great place to stop by before or after a day of shopping or the movies! This place was well- kept and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Nothing tasted particularly fresh, especially the side salads. The desserts tasted boxed rather than house-made, and the cannoli filling was nothing close to authentic. The matzoh ball soup was very bland, and the portion was surprisingly small, it’s shown on the menu as a nice bowl, but it was served in a small 8 oz paper cup. For $5, that felt pretty underwhelming.
Overall, it didn’t live up to the expectations set by the menu and descriptions.
One thing I wish they could change was the way they deliver food. They just call out your name and look around when having a table marker would be easy but that’s just me.
