Grabbed dinner and beers early on a Saturday evening. All of the food was delicious, atmosphere was very relaxed. Nothing fancy, but that’s exactly what we were looking for. Motor oil wings are amazing.

Scouting for the Food Network App, went to sample the Wings. This place is a throw back from back in the day and you have to love that. Ordered their famous wings and right off the start, the wings themselves were really small, not sure how 2 of them were even considered in my wing count for $15, but I had enough to sample for a base scouting report. Very good wing, #1 in NJ. I wouldn’t go that far, but would be in the mix in the top 10 for sure. I would go back and would order these wings over any chain that is out there. Once you find this place, you will always go back. Look forward to seeing what they will do on the wing tournament.

We enjoyed our burgers. I loved the Tater Kegs, a nice combo of cheese, bacon and potato in an appetizer with sour cream.

Quaint little pub with a huge outside patio. Classic American fare, burgers, wings wraps, pizza, sandwiches. Famous for their wings, I had to try them. Different and delicious! Crispy outside, with a thin coating, and perfectly done, soft and juicy on the inside. Buffalo style, little wings, which IMHO, are way better than giant ones. Very cool staff, excellent find!

Hands down the best chicken parm wrap I’ve ever had in my life. My usual go to is the buffalo chicken wrap cause it’s also if you haven’t had their wings then you honestly have not had the best wings in NJ…so many different sauces and the “motor oil” sauce is their hidden secret. Come have a simple drink or a beer on draft and enjoy some amazing food. You will NOT be disappointed.

As my first review ever lol i just had to, first of all, the sign outside this place says Knotty pine where every hour is happy hour
Which is not the case. Decent priced drinks, mediocre wings. Best thing about this place is the parking so I used to go to cheesecake factory for a drink or 2 me and my girl. But I stopped going there because there was this one bartender , or manager that just tried so hard to be liked, especially with fake smiles. I think her name was Diana. She didn’t make it easy to forget her name. So I was told to check out this place called knotty pine. But when I walked in at my surprise, look who i see, big fake smile on my greeting, as she talked to me as we were friends i was with my girlfriend and she recognized her so yeah, we will be going back to cheesecake. thank knotty pine for taking in that disaster maybe I’ll do this place another try when she is no longer there i’m sure It won’t last long..

WDHA would not lead you wrong – KPP wings could be the best in NJ. I also tried Bloody Mary style – not enough kick. Two friendly, helpful bartenders. I could have stayed all day. But get there early – only 20 barstools, and a few tables.

Ok so this was my first time here. I lived in the Mine Hill area for 23 years and always wanted to try it out. Now that my son is 21, we decided to stop in for a beer. First impression when we walked in was holy crap it’s small. Older crowd at best. We sat at the bar to grab some food. Classic American bar food I’d say. Don’t come here looking for classic high end value food. But down right good comfort food. Thoroughly enjoyed my meatloaf parm special, just wish it came with fries. The staff was great to greet us and continue to engage to make sure we were ok.
