Buffet breakfast was good. Dinner was not so good. Burgers were dry and wings were burnt and overcooked as well. The restaurant looked very nice. But the food was not to our taste.

I was this end of NMB so I tried this place. I was skeptical at first seeing the one and two stars, not to mention it’s kind of like walking into an 80’s flashback when you enter the restaurant; however, it was surprisingly good.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and nice, the service was amazing, and food was delicious. Reading the reviews I honestly didn’t think the menu was that limited as was mentioned, and certainly doesn’t deserve one or two stars.
There are great ocean views from the restaurant and would recommend.

Our recent visit to the Prince Resort offered us an exciting experience, including breakfast at the 3500 Ocean Grill, which featured a variety of classic options like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and biscuits. The waffle station was a fun addition, although I found that my waffles often came out a bit doughy, leaving room for improvement.
The main area for improvement was the timely restocking of the buffet. When larger groups arrived, some dishes were quickly emptied, and it took a while for items to be replenished. I did notice several managers present, but there was only one staff member assisting, which made it challenging to keep everything stocked.
While the location was quite convenient and the atmosphere enjoyable, I hope to see enhancements in the breakfast service in the future. With a few adjustments, I believe this place can truly shine.

We tried this place yesterday for breakfast. I was surprised that is was quite good for a motel buffet. The bacon was very good. 2 types of eggs. And much more. They had a great fruit bar with fresh strawberries, watermelon, blueberries, grapes, cantaloupe, and so much more. A list of drinks to choose from. When we got there we were the 3rd table, but after we got our food and sat down the rush of people came in. Good breakfast buffet, but this one guy worked alone mostly. Understaffed. We needed drink refills and more, but had to wait a long time. Going by the reviews, I can see it going from a 2star up to a 5star on a varying daily basis. There is a lot of potential. This place is great to save hotel guests from having to drive to other places to eat. $15 per person is worth it.

What a pleasant surprise! We came for the happy hour specials and will definitely be back. Our server, Megan was personable and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Our chef, Andrew prepared beautiful and delicious dishes. We had generous portions of flounder fillet, chicken quesadillas and garlic Parmesan shrimp. Even the fries were great! The salad bar was nice also.

First let me start by saying the most recent review mentioned being one of two tables in the restaurant. We were the other table. The poor waitress could barely understand English but she was so nice and apologetic for the absolute terrible food. It was her first day. The cooks were eating and chewing food the entire time they were ‘cooking’, if that’s what you want to call it. We ordered 2 low country boils, a personal pizza, shrimp and grits, and two kids burgers. It took over an hour for us to receive food. The low country boil was the worst food I’ve eaten in my life. The shrimp was hard, cold, and I couldn’t even chew it. I tried to eat one piece and couldn’t do that to myself. Potatoes were missing from the boil and when asked they brought two cold plates of mashed potatoes – not even what it says on the menu. The corn was not freshly cooked, it was mushy. Charged us for items they didn’t even have like pineapple for the pizza. Instant tea that was not fresh. No manager on site. No bartender even though their menu boasts cocktails – which you can’t order. Chef came out complaining to us directly about the waitress that could barely speak English. $91 bill and the majority of us couldn’t even eat the food. Waitress had to call the manager multiple times to have the 2 low country boils removed from the check and we didnt even eat them. Honestly this place needs to shut the doors and not re-open. Zero stars.

We came to 3500 Ocean Grill for Thanksgiving dinner. We were seated and not greeted by a waiter or waitress. We waited for about 15 minutes then went to the buffet for food and I asked a woman if someone could help us. She said she wasn’t a server but would get us drinks. We ate our food and after 40 minutes went by, I had to find someone to get us drink refills and to get us coffee and dessert. It’s a shame because we are on vacation and I was hoping for a nice Thanksgiving dinner away from home.
We had to pay gratuity beforehand and that would have been fine if we had a server before me having to ask for one the last 10 minutes of our visit.

First off for fine dining the music selection was not appropriate .. second they took our party off 5 and we placed simple orders. The food including the Steak and hamburger was burnt. 2 people working the whole restaurant. Our part of five should’ve just walked in separately and ate. Everybody ate alone and not as a family because the plates all came out separately about 15 minutes apart. . Never again
