My waitress jazmin was an absolute angel after a group of people loudly complained their food was cold (not possible) and were extremely rude. It was short-staffed and one of the gentleman was rude to her, repeatedly swearing at her. Better than me.

Maybe the best waffle house I’ve eaten at and I’ve eaten here all my life. Last weekend there was a line out the door and a waiting list. Never seen at a waho before. Ordered a crispy hash brown and even tho it was crowded, they took the time to make it crispy. Here now at midnight and it was just as good.

We went to this restaurant today, and may be the last. Twice in the past, there has been an incident, where 2 employees start to have a very loud argument, behind the counter. U stood up, and spoke out, telling them to stop. I don’t to put to enjoy a meal tor it to be disrupted by 2 grown adults that cant stop acting like children. The whole time they are fighting, the manager is standing there, and doing absolutely NOTHING! Disgusting behavior!

In their defense we did get there at 3:30 in the morning. I think they were tired. Service was a little slow even though we were only the second group there, but they were super friendly and courteous. They were very professional. The food was really good even by Waffle House standards. The food was well prepared and presented. It’s a really good Waffle House as long as you have some time in the wee hours of the morning. It was clean.

Delicious cheeseburgers, and vanilla Sprite. So tasty. Great customer service, reasonable pricing. Clean restaurant. It’s conveniently located near Publix on Barnett Shoals Road in Athens. The cooking is really good, and there is nothing overcooked or burnt.

The cook burned the food, then complained..loudly…about having to recook the food they’d burned. We felt very unwelcome at that point. The service person did the best she could with what she had to work with.

Wonderful and the waitresses are hoping to get more cash tips because the credit card tips go on your check now, so the servers do not get to take home all their tips like they did in the past. If the server adds her tips at the end of her shift, and if she only made 10 dollars in cash and 90 dollars from credit card tips and being used to getting all tips everyday is why we are servers because we need money after every shift not a week later on the check. Waitresses are waitresses because of the tips at the end of every shift, so if the servers kid was needing his prescriptions right away, but mom only got to bring her cash home which was only 10 dollars. I know the point is to tax our credit card tips, and I think it’s wrong because servers only make like three dollars an hour. Food and staff is wonderful and we love our customers.

Went to WH today 01/30/22 ; never will I step to eat there with the same people that are there, cooker was just on her phone while doing the food. Didn’t even cook the bacon nor the meat good .
