Growing up I didn’t time in the Jersey shore area and if you have too them you know good food.. Bread, bagels, donuts, pastry, pizza, cutlets… And deli sandwiches. Long story short, this is THE CLASSIC ITALIAN DELI at the Jersey shore and absolutely the best cold cut hero I’ve ever had. Fresh hard or soft rolls, meat sliced in front of you for each sandwich.. Sliced thin and piled high. This was the tastiest, most tender Italian cold cut I’ve ever had, fresh mozzarella cheese and roasted peppers with plenty of oil and vinegar. Absolutely humongous, piled high, made to order and the price was absolutely fantastic..15 bucks for a whole hero!! The deli is huge, full of anything you expect in a traditional Italian deli. I don’t live in Jersey but if I’m back I will definitely be going back to Lenny’s and you should too

My husband was almost killed in a motorcycle accident over the summer. We are having a small Christmas due to him still healing. He wanted to smoke Prime Rib. I called Lennys on Friday 12/19 to ask the price for Prime Rib. I was told $19.99 per pound. I was told it was best to order the Prime Rib in advance for Christmas and pick it up a couple days before. The employee on the phone tried to lecture me on how big of a Prime Rib I should order, instead of listening to me when I said I needed 5 pounds. I ordered a 5 pound boneless Prime Rib to be picked up on Tuesday 12/23. On Tuesday, I drove half an hour to Lenny’s to pick up my order. When I get home I open up the wrapping to make sure they didn’t season it, since that was an option and due to food allergies I did not want seasoning. Upon opening the wrapper I see that I was charged $18.99 per pound and the Prime Rib is not boneless. I call the store and I am told they are transferring me to the butcher. After 15 minutes on hold without anyone answering, I hang up and call back. This time the butcher answers quickly. I am told that they take the bones out and put them back in for cooking so its really not a problem. I then point out that I paid for bones and I did not get the quantity of meat that I needed because the bone weight is included. I was then told to hang on and was promptly hung up on.
This was my first time using Lennys and I will never go back. I dont even care if the meat quality is good at this point, I will not support a business that treats people like that.

First time trying Lenny’s Silverton Market. The pastrami sandwich was actually pretty good flavorful and fresh. However, the cold ham sandwich was disappointing, not much taste. What really stood out though was the service: the guy making my sandwich was quite rude, which made the experience uncomfortable. Also got charged extra for grilled peppers, which wasn’t clearly mentioned upfront. Overall, mixed experience good pastrami, but service and consistency need improvement.

Lemme tell ya, I got a soft spot for Lenny’s. The meat? Not bad—solid cuts, nothing to sneeze at. But sometimes, I feel like I gotta wrestle the guy behind the counter just to get the right portion.
Prices? Eh… fair, but my wallet feels it. Service? Some days it’s like a warm hug, other days I’m waitin’ so long I start thinkin’ about my life choices—again.
Still, I keep comin’ back. There’s just somethin’ about Lenny’s that feels… like family. A little rough around the edges, but you love ‘em anyway.
Verdict: 3 stars. I’m conflicted, but that’s love, right?”*

We’ve been going to Lenny’s for four years. Great quality meats, great sandwiches and cheesesteaks at the deli. Went in today specifically to order two cheesesteaks amd because it’s a Saturday there was a good line at the deli. While my husband waited I went to the butcher and picked up some meat for the next two nights. After waiting even longer than that took, my husband was informed that there were no cheesesteaks. The employee behind the counter was rude on top of that. Maybe put up a sign when you’ve run out of something and people may be waiting for nothing? Do better Lenny’s.

Just go to Lenny’s!! Best subs on the East Coast. I mean the best. Overstuffed with fresh-sliced goodies, and the working back there are all super-friendly and focused on customer service.
Same thing at the meat counter and get the stuff chicken breasts. You can thank me later.
Fantastic Italian cookies, excellent imported pasta’s and sauces, and the young ladies at the checkout are so friendly.

Been reading all the great reviews and during my visit to NJ had to find out. The sandwiches are huge. Everything looks delicious and the counter guy really can craft a sandwich. Since my move to Florida, I’ve craved this type of food and atmospheres. No disappointments with Lenny’s.
