One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had!
We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday at Crabtree Kitchen + Bar, and it could not have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and elegant… perfect for a special occasion.
The highlight was the steak, sourced from their own family ranch just outside of town. Truly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had – cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and you could taste the quality. The farm-to-table concept here isn’t just a buzzword, it’s the real deal.
Service was outstanding… attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. You can tell the staff and leadership take pride in what they do.
Between the rustic yet refined setting, the amazing food, and the care that went into every detail, Crabtree Kitchen + Bar is a restaurant that sets the bar high. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Poulsbo.

We had a group of 14 for Sunday brunch. The menu had food and drink choices to please everyone. The food was excellent. Jackson was an attentive server. We did need the music in our room turned down in order to carry on conversations.
A caution – large group reservations need special arrangements. Groups of 15 or more will not receive individual checks – one total for all.

We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner here! Our reservation was for 20:30, but due to a system issue, there was a double booking, so we had a short wait of about 30 minutes. The staff was very accommodating and let us enjoy some delicious cocktails at the bar while we waited, which made the time fly by.
I ordered a hibiscus cocktail, which was not only tasty but also beautifully presented with a heart decoration for Valentine’s Day—a lovely touch! The special Valentine’s dinner menu was fantastic, with every dish tasting absolutely delicious. I wish I had remembered to take a picture of the dessert because the raspberry pudding was uniquely prepared and so good!
The restaurant has a spacious and sophisticated interior, with an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs in action. There’s also a bar and a cozy loft-style waiting area where you can relax with a drink. Plus, they offer a kids’ menu, making it a great spot for families, too.
This place is definitely one of my favorites, and I highly recommend it!

Five very impressed, happy people! The food was expertly prepared,(our group includes chefs from around the world), the cocktails were excellent (one in our group is a consummate bartender from Seattle) to say nothing of the most superhero waitperson, Rebecca. She was fun, knowledgeable and attentive but not intrusive. We had a great experience. Not cheap, but worth every dollar. Bravo and thank you.

The restaurant is beautiful and they have an excellent wine/beverage program. However, the food was meh. The dishes (and we had a prix fixe) were either dry or lacking in sauce/flavor/balance. We had some pork belly that was dried out (made too far in advance?) a chicken dish that was not salted enough… And rice pudding that had a weird texture and taste… For the price we were not impressed. We will not return.

We came here for our 19th “first date” anniversary. The staff are all very friendly and hard working. The food…omg. My husband and I don’t get to have a lot of fine dining meals, so for the one time we treated ourselves, I am so happy this was where we went. I had the lamb, my husband had the Halibut. Both were bursting with flavor. My husband was upset he couldn’t lick the plate. We also had the baked brie special which was outstanding. The cocktails are suuuuper yummy as well.

Had an amazing experience here for a birthday brunch today. Food was phenomenal (probably the next packed eggs anywhere!), libations flowing, service was top tier excellence and the ambiance was superb. Not sure why this place isn’t more hyped. Definitely a hidden gem that’s worth it!!

Regardless of the busyness of the Valentine’s Day reservations, our server, Jackson, was very attentive throughout the evening: starting us off with proseco, taking our order, updating us on what was to come next and making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. We began with an appetizer of butternut squash fritters with goat cheese and tamarind dip. Our second course was a delightful panzanella salad tossed in a white balsamic vinaigrette. For our entree course I enjoyed a perfectly cooked NY steak and prawns saute with wild mushrooms and baby potatoes and my wife especially loved her rack of lamb with huckleberry gastrique, white chocolate mashed potatoes, fried Brussel sprouts tossed in a hazelnut vinaigrette and tosted almonds.
The special menu choices were like no other in our area. My wife can’t say enough about her rack of lamb and white chocolate mashed potatoes . The only downside to the evening was having to choose between one of the three delectable desserts and having to watch the other two choices go by our table as they went to other tables. The raspberry bread pudding we chose was layered in flavors of raspberry sauce, white chocolate, and whipped cream.
