We’ve been coming here for many years now as large groups and small, we all love it. The atmosphere is quiet and calm and the food is exquisite. Working our way through the menu and have not been disappointed at all. This time we got the kimbob appetizer which was a great blend of umami filled beef, crunchy fresh vegetables wrapped in perfect rice. We got chicken Korean Ramen as well that I highly recommend with a full bodied broth and delicious bites of sweet charred chicken. We always go back to the beef galbi and are never disappointed with its smokey sweet char. The service is always helpful and friendly, more than willing to answer questions or accommodate something. We cannot recommend this place enough, we will keep coming back again and again.

My go-to Korean food is spicy squid and this was the only Korean restaurant near my hotel that had it. The portion seemed a bit smaller than what I get at most Korean restaurants, but this is a small, family run shop so I understand. The food was still delicious and older gentleman at the door was very kind and friendly. The younger female behind the counter didn’t have the best customer service and almost seemed annoyed at me walking in (even though I was literally the only customer) but I was just there to grab and go my online order so I brushed it off. If I had time, I would have opted to dine in because it was a cozy, “mom and pop” vibe which I love when eating Korean food.

Nak Won has a nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly, which made the experience pleasant. The food was decent overall, flavors were good, but I did feel the prices were a bit high for the area and the portion sizes. It’s a nice spot to try if you’re craving Korean food, but just be aware it may not be the best value for the price.

We had bulgogi and galbi and it was very good. Our waiter was friendly and I gave service a 5 because he had 3 families to come at the same time and he handled us all efficiently. While we sat down in the dining room we received a plastic fork and spoon in addition to our chopsticks. Regular silverware would have been a step up. There was no Korean ambiance except for a few wall decorations. There was no music. I think a big opportunity was missed.

We had a party of 12 and they were so accommodating to our group size and needs. We are Korean American and this restaurant serves authentic Korean food. The chef (& who I’m assuming is the owner) was so friendly and made us feel so welcomed.

This was so nice! Very authentic. A few people in our party have been to Korea and said so. I really loved the Dolset Bibimbop. Others had bulgogi and Korean fried rice. Would definitely come back again!

Update from the last 6 years I have been eating at Nak Won. BLUF: BEST AUTHENTIC SPICY RAMEN. been to korea, and this is the real deal. It’s still the best Korean food for the area. A lot of noodle restaurants and ramen places have been popping up, and I have been leaving those places overcharged and un satisfied. I can safely say that I have never been disappointed at Nak Wons. The dumplings are my wife’s and I favorite. Super crispy and great flavor profile. We each get our own order of them cause they are so good. And the ramen is unmatched around here. Don’t mess around with anywhere else. After having the ramen at this place, it leaves all others tasting like trash and proving that all others are un-memorable.

The bulgogi was tender and flavorful, and the kimchi fried rice was savory. Location and outside appearance may fool you, but the food is great! Don’t let that stop you – inside, you’ll find a hidden gem. Great food and service – I’ll definitely be back!

My family and I visited on Sunday, January 15, 2023. This place is clean and we had great service. Portions are a good size. We all ordered different items. As for me, I loved the Dolsot Bibimbob w/out egg. It was tasty, hot, and I loved the veggies in it. I added spicy chicken to it. Great place!
