Wandering into Willa was an enchanting feeling, the ambiance from the front doors to our seat. Really had no expectations as I’ve read so many with other restaurants that their amazing and it’s quite average quality.
Willa delighted in the decor, ambiance, and friendly staff.
Drinks were wonderful and creative, even the mocktails for my kids.
Appetizer we ordered was the foccia bread, with whipped butter. The slices were two but enough for 4 of us. They were delicious and would recommend them.
The ceasar salad was on point and very flavorful and fresh.
The smash burgers were burgers and were good, nothing spectacular, but good- includes a large portion of fries.
The pappardella bolognese was ok, we felt the flavor was quite bland missing the richness of the simple Italian favorite.
The keylime pie was very good, full flavor with a hard crust and was the perfect combination.
Overall, we would come back perhaps for drinks and an appetizer.

We found Willa A in Millerton by chance, calling last minute to grab a quick bite — and we’re so glad we did! We haven’t explored much of the area yet, so this was a wonderful surprise.
The restaurant has a cozy, lively atmosphere with great vibes, and even though it was busy, they were kind enough to accommodate our last-minute reservation.
The cocktails were fantastic full of flavor and beautifully made. We started with some faccia and fresh salads, both delicious. For the main course, we tried their special pappardelle dish, which paired perfectly with a glass of red wine. The kids ordered burgers and absolutely loved them.
We finished with a slice of key lime pie that was the perfect ending — light, tangy, and delicious.
The service was warm and attentive; Alana, one of the owners, personally checked in on us and made us feel welcome.
Overall, Willa A is a wonderful spot for a great meal and good memories. Highly recommend this hidden gem — we’ll definitely be back for more delicious dishes!

Dinner at Willa in Millerton, NY, where Executive Chef Dan Meissner and his talented team serves the most amazing food. Pictured are appetizers of vitsky toast, handmade cavatelli with pistachio pesto, chicken karaage and roasted koginut squash, plus an Avant Gardener cocktail. The four of us ordered all four entrees, mine being the the handmade parppadelle with bolognese. I’ve made bolognese for years, but this version is better than mine so I will be modifying my recipe slightly from now on. We shared all three desserts: key lime pie, the most amazing lemon/honeycomb ice cream and roasted pumpkin cheesecake with pepita ice cream.
This was a spectacular meal.

I recently visited Willa with a few industry friends who had been raving about the head chef’s impressive culinary background. Having heard the chef has been thru some amazing Michelin-starred kitchens, I had high hopes for a solid meal—and Willa far exceeded them.
Every dish, from the mushroom toast and oysters to the tuna, gnocchi, karaage-style fried chicken, seafood pasta, and tilefish, was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was spot-on, and the flavors were balanced, bright, and deeply satisfying.
I even gave the chef a hug afterward—because in contrast to so much of the overhyped noise you find in NYC, where service and flavor often fall short, Willa delivered on every level.
Don’t skip the cocktails, either. They’re just as thoughtfully crafted as the food.

Fresh out of a hallmark movie the space is warm and inviting. The menu is small but highlights the point of seasonal cooking. Everything was delicious from the mussels to the pasta – it was all a treat. Would definitely be back 🙂

The service was impeccable. Jim, our bartender and server was so friendly, attentive, kind and approachable. The environment was clean, fresh and elevated. Just a great night all together! So happy to have Willa in the area and we can’t wait to go back!

The dishes here are very different and delicious from the regular paced restaurants. Food here was created with thought, and the tastes hold your emotions. Fantastic hand crafted drinks both alcohol and mocktails. A great find for such a small sleeping town with quality and outstanding service.
