Really cool place. Great food, super friendly people, and lots of fun! They have karaoke, foosball, checkers, chess, Jenga – so many fun things to do while you are there, and great for keeping kids entertained. I especially like their pork nachos – surprisingly sweet and very delicious. My husband is a huge fan of their artichoke jalapeno dip. We will definitely be coming back!

This is a gem. I wish I lived next door!

They have beer, whiskey, some of the best food I have ever had, and live acoustic music all at bargain prices. There was no cover charge, and they have a large outside smoking patio with umbrellas and nice tables. There is no smoking inside.

This is in a “dry county”, so you have to print your name and the town you are from in a ledger to satisfy the “alcohol in private club law” and that’s it.

This was a great experience and a trip maker if you are passing through. The scenery along the highway to Calico Rock is beautiful.

This is a breath of fresh air for this area. Finally found a place that is comfortable, friendly, and with the best good feelings and vibe. I love live music and enjoy the personal feel of the performances here. I highly recommended and will be my spot to go. I can’t comment on the great smelling food as I have not eaten there yet.

Great concept and location for a speak easy. The implementation not so much. It is a family setting so there were quite a few kids there running around. Games were there to play. The music was ok. The service wasn’t very good. The two waitresses were running up and down the stairs and couldn’t keep up. We had 3 drinks, 2 margaritas and a vodka strawberry drink, and no food, should have been $26 but was charged $43 because they couldn’t keep up with who had what on their tabs, so we were charged for a couple of drinks of friends that were with us but since they didn’t get charged for the same drinks, it was ok.

My wife and I found this place today, we didn’t know what to expect. However as we entered we were greeted with a smile and a menu and found the speakeasy. Very cool place and the beef and cheddar will have me back for sure. My wife had the sliders and they had a smoky flavor that also was very good. We will be back.

This is a great place to go to relax after a day of fishing on the river or lake. You can have a drink, have some good food, and on the weekends listen to numerous local musicians. The atmosphere is very casual with the “speak easy” feel and exceptionally friendly service staff. We have always enjoyed visiting when we are in Calico.

The speakeasy is the only place in town to get “adult” beverages. They have music on Friday and Saturday nights. Staff is great- Linda and Sam bartend and serve while Kristi in the kitchen is a wizard!
Super excited they added some tables in the front so those who can’t get up and down stairs as much can still enjoy, but the basement is the place to be if you can.

We chose this place because, well, they were open. The menu was small but the staff was welcoming and we were hungry so we headed downstairs to grab a table and look over the menu. Wow! What a great space! Everything about the space was a pleasant surprise. Cool chandeliers, cozy seating areas and a great table to enjoy our lunch.

We ordered the charcuterie board, pretzels, sliders and the BBQ chicken flat bread. They had their own sausage on the charcuterie and it was fabulous. The sliders were delicious and I can’t stop thinking about that flat bread. Wish we were in town longer so we could stop in again.
