Just had a pint and a game of pool in the pub. Plenty of patrons and a great vibe, you could tell it was rich with history – her grandad opened it in the 60s! Didn’t catch the owner’s name unfortunately but she was super friendly and hospitable.
We played pool for 50c and the Budweiser was cheap, will be recommending to any mates who are close by. Pity we were just passing through.

Walked into this bar and it was like 1987. The place was packed, even out back. Everyone was very friendly.
They were having a craw fish feed by “donation”. It was a good time.
Our friends showed us how to play shuffle board. I’m told you don’t see the long shuffle boards like this that often.

Great bar! Friendly staff, cheap beers and a great atmosphere. What more could you want. Real hidden gem in Salmon. If you’re stopping in town over night and are looking for a local bar to hit up, definitely stop by and take in the atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back sometime.

My friends and I ended up at the Mule sale Friday night and offered a ride to someone. He said ‘sure! Would you drop me off at the Lanter Bar?’
Then he offered us all a drink and we thought…sure why not.
Oh my gosh!!!!
It seemed like everyone that was at the sale was there!
They had a Calcutta auction that was fun to be a part of as 1st timers.
Then I went to play pool (0.50 cents a game!!!)
Met the most absolutely fun, kind, lively people here of ALL ages!!!!
The bartender ladies and our waitresses were just the sweetest and ever so pleasant!
To be honest, the whole evening was just great fun!
Can’t wait for next year’s Salmon Select Mule Sale just to be able to come back here!!

We have friends that come up on there bike every year and we LOVE this place for sure. Katie was so funny and a great person all around. We stop in ever time we are in the area,and the REDNECK SHARCUTERIE BOARD with the family recipe of mustard was amazing. Highly recommend this place

Kate, who served us, was very friendly!! She greeted us as soon as we came in the door, she served us a free snack and asked where we were from. She is a hard worker and very attentive. The bar is a fun place to stop! Thank you!!!

Such a cool place, best place ever! Bartenders are so friendly and hilarious! Drinks prices super reasonable, food from 3 local places! Love this place!
