My wife and I have eaten here 1-2 times a week for the past several years. The food is fantastic, the service is great, and it’s consistent! My go to is the steak specialty gyro with fries, real hand cut fries with a flaky sea salt. My wife loves the chicken salad. The hummus is the best I’ve ever had. Other good things they have are their burgers, they’re huge and delicious! Onion rings are great, the pork specialty gyro is great too. They also have fresh red fish that you can get on a salad, as a gyro, or by itself. A red fish filet and an order of hummus is a good meal for me when I want something kind of light! You can also BYOB, which is awesome! Go check them out, they just opened a location in Clinton as well!!

EDIT: upgraded from 4 to 5 ⭐️’s. I’ve been back two more times since by original review. The Gyro salad is amazing! It’s the best of both worlds, a perfect combination of the Greek salad and gyro. And those French fries? Incredible!!!
Very nice decor and area, very chic and modern. Super fast service despite ordering to go just a half hour before closing. Hand-cut fries were amazing! Wish I could say the same about the gyro. It wasn’t bad but I’ve had better, it was just bland, it was fresh but the tzatziki sauce was more like plain yogurt. Greed salad was pretty good, very fresh but found the dressing just a little on the light side for me. Overall a good visit and value for the money, would return again.

The best place in town if you want good french fries. Excellent even with no seasoning. The Greek salad with chicken is enough for two and with the fries on the side, well you can’t go wrong.

Krilakis is a true Greek treasure! I ordered the grilled chicken gyro with a side salad, and it was perfection—tender, flavorful chicken wrapped in soft pita, paired with the freshest, crisp salad and their house-made tzatziki.
The menu is packed with authentic, flavorful dishes like flaky spanakopita and sweet, decadent baklava, all made with high-quality ingredients. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make every visit special, whether it’s a quick bite or a relaxed meal. Krilakis isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a delicious trip to Greece you’ll want to take again and again!

Tzatziki sauce is perfect. The food came out hot and fresh. Great tasting. The pita is a little thin and tore as I was eating it and my wife got frustrated with hers as well. Fries were hot but very tiny pieces.

The hummus was good and staff is friendly. The lamb gyro was flavorless and the chicken gyro was bland. The tomato in the gyro had more flavor than anything else, and there were two small pieces of hard bone in the lamb gyro (see pics). No char on the meat in a soft pita made every bite the same – soft texture with no flavor. We came here because of the high star reviews, but we’ll be sticking to Keifers. $39 for two lamb gyro, a kids chicken gyro (no drink included for kids meal), and a baklava. Baklava tasted like an old donuts.

First timer here…and boy, did I underestimate the portion sizes! I’m not mad about it, though, because the food is DELICIOUS. Our party of 3 ordered 2 steak gyros w/Greek salads/drinks and the Greek Nachos. $50 later (plus a tip), we sat down at our table thinking, boy did that add up fast! But then the 2 Greek salads came out. We devoured them. And then the Greek nachos came out. We devoured half of that monster portion and started looking at each other like we had gotten in over our heads. Then the (ridiculously heavy) steak gyros came out. We didn’t even open the foil packets…just got ourselves a bag to take them home. Stuffed and thrilled with every bite, we found ourselves trying to figure out when we will be back through the area. We haven’t enjoyed a meal that much in a very long time. Can’t wait for supper!

This is a burger joint masked as a casual Greek restaurant. Great burgers, maybe the best in Madison – but come on, don’t charge me $11 for a literal handful of calamari. The fries are alright. I’ll still be back since the burgers are too good to ignore 🙂

To be honest I wasn’t super impressed. They had a pretty good salad but it was chopped up lettuce which I’m not a fan of. I tried a bite of the redfish gyro and it tasted a little fishy and I immediately had to spit out a bone. The lamb gyro was pretty good but i was disappointed that all they have is tzatziki sauce and no feta sauce. My favorite part about getting greek food is probably the Feta sauce.

Good food, fast service! the fries are awesome! I think they use flaky sea salt on the fries, which tastes so good. I had the gyro burger and my husband had the krilakis gyro and we enjoyed both.
