Went for dinner Sunday night. Great food, atmosphere and service. We tried appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Chili pepper chicken, curry prawn, lobster mapo tofu were all tasty. Salted egg ice cream was the favorite among the ladies but all desserts are well balanced. Forgot to mention, service was excellent. Definitely coming back.

This place is pretty new so they’re still working out the kinks of service and training kitchen staff. But the food delivers. The salt and pepper tofu reminds me of what I ate as a kid. The pepper fried rice and snow pea tips are cooked perfectly. Non-veg entrees like the chili chicken and Nile fish are excellent and the portion sizes are good. This place does verge on the expensive side so it’s definitely not your corner Asian takeout place. But check it out for a nice date night or special occasion!

EDIT: IF YOU GO AT 4PM WHEN NO-ONE ELSE IS THERE THEN ITS A 4/5
I went with my family at 7pm last Friday and the service was terrible. We got entrees before appetizers. The whole ordeal took TWO HOURS. And we were still waiting for 2 bowls of rice that never came. Why does anybody have to wait for rice? At least make a huge batch of that. After splitting with my brother in law, I realized I paid 100 bucks for like 3 pieces of chicken and some steak and 1 chicken wonton. And that’s it. Not worth. They need more staff, better experience for the price they charge.

This restaurant was FANTASTIC. Went and shared chicken wontons, chili chicken, black pepper beef, chow mein noodles, duck, wonton soup, and probably something else I don’t remember. All were very good. Cooked and seasoned well. I really enjoyed the chili chicken and the beef.
CONs:
It’s a little pricey but we think worth it.
Service: The service was mostly good, but the waiter was a little pushy when it came to offering us cocktails for the upcharge or rice for the up charge. By the way, they do up charge $2 for a little bowl of white rice, which I thought was a little ridiculous.
But none of these cons will stop me. I will definitely be back and I look forward to it!

Kimchi was fantastic, XO seafood fried rice was delicious, wontons were amazing. Kung Pao chicken was a little sweet, fried nile fish needed a dipping sauce but both were delicious. So many more dishes I want to try. Kimchi will bring me back quickly.

Came on their second night of opening and it was pretty busy, so it took a bit longer to get our food understandably. We ordered the chicken wontons, jasmine ribs, and seafood lo mein, and they were well seasoned with good portion sizes (drinks and entrees are on the pricier end). The ambiance of the restaurant was nice too, with attention put into their decor and lighting. I’ll be coming back to try the other menu items.

honestly the best Chinese food in Madison/Verona. there’s many dishes here that are incredible and i’ve never tasted anywhere else before. i’m just visiting but i’d come back just to taste those flavors again
