Last night we were in the mood for some pizza, so I Googled around and Annabelle’s came up as a great option. We decided to give it a try.
JJ was the first person we met—very welcoming, really nice guy. He recommended the Grandma Drunken pizza.
Great suggestion! Everything looked amazing: the place, the food, the atmosphere.
Since the pizza was so good, we also tried the garlic knots. Absolutely delicious.
We were still a little hungry, so we shared a Chicken Sorrentino over spaghetti, with salad and some garlic bread. Needless to say, that was excellent too.
Danielle took care of us—very nice, very attentive—and she made the whole dinner experience even better.
Honestly, as I’m writing this review, I’m getting hungry just thinking about the food!
Thank you, guys. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu, just like Danielle suggested.

I ordered a simple order of buffalo wings and a Caesar salad. Picked up the order. Drove back to the hotel, to discover there was NO buffalo sauce on the wings… they were just dry wings. I called to let them know and the person who answered the phone insisted on arguing with me how the sauce was already on. I’m pretty sure I know when wings have buffalo sauce! These wings are DRY! It’s one thing to mess up an order. It’s another to argue with the person eating them about what they’re eating. HUGE thumbs down!!

What a difference a day makes. My co-worker wanted pizza, so we stopped there before heading to the hotel. The guy at the front counter was rude and very short with words. When we got in, there was no Pepperoni pizza available. I kindly asked if some was available, and he rudely responded yeah one1 slice He never offered me to wait until more could be made, nor did he mention if one might have been in the oven. The way he handled us screamed I don’t want your business.” My co-worker ordered two slices of cheese, and I ordered nothing. The next day, I decided to give it another try. As I entered the same gentleman from the day before, was behind the counter. TOTALLY different person. He immediately spoke and welcomed me in. I asked for 2 of the pepperoni slices, which he put in. He was friendly and a joy to be around. We all have bad days. I am just glad I gave it a second chance. The pizza was great.

I stopped in for takeout to grab some lunch today and I’m glad I did! I ordered a slice of the Grandma’s pizza and a side order of meatballs and sauce. The pizza crust was crispy and the mozzarella and sauce were outstanding. Fresh basil and a dollop of more savory sauce made this slice a winner. Grandma’s is my favorite type of pizza and Annabella’s didn’t disappoint one bit. The meatballs here are out of this world. They are huge and so flavorful. The sauce, albeit a tad sweeter of a variety than I’m familiar, was delightful. The service was friendly and I didn’t have to wait long for the food. The establishment inside is not your run-of-the-mill pizzeria. There are actual chandeliers hung for lighting, and the backdrop seems Tuscan-inspired, complete with classic statues standing within carved archways. The restaurant seems to attract a family-friendly crowd. Lastly, this restaurant is BYOB…very nice! They also cater. I’ll be back to try something new soon. First impressions? Nothing but positive. Keep up the great work and incredible cooking!

As soon as you walk in you will know you will not leave hungry. The staff was kind, the restaurant smelled amazing and if you can get there during March you must try the shrimp appetizer. Pasta, pizza, baked lasagna all were hits with the group at dinner. They had the perfect spot for a large group and took flawless care of all of us.

The Food is absolutely Great!! What a selection! The fresh sauce that you dip your garlic knotts or garlic bread in is second to None! One of the best in New Jersey!!

One of my all time favorites, you are greeted the minute you walk in the door and feel like you’re family. The pizza is delicious and the anti pasta salad was fantastic. Tracy our waitress was super polite and very funny. She made us feel taken care of but not rushed. Will be coming back again and again.

This pizza was absolutely amazing! It was grilled chicken with spinach and mushrooms. Wait time was about 20 minutes. Service was good and prices were decent as the slices were huge!

We were really disappointed by our experience here, mainly due to an unexpected and unreasonable extra charge. We ordered the “Cavatelli and Broccoli” — a dish that, by name, clearly includes cavatelli pasta. However, we were surprised to find a $2 surcharge added to our bill for the cavatelli.
When we asked about it, the server explained that cavatelli costs more than other pastas, which is fine — but nowhere on the menu does it mention an upcharge. More confusingly, the dish is literally called Cavatelli and Broccoli — so why would the featured pasta not be included in the listed price?
The server said we could have avoided the charge by ordering it with penne, which completely defeats the point of ordering a dish named after cavatelli. It felt misleading and left a bad impression. The server even mentioned it to the manager and he said nothing to us.
The food was decent, but it’s hard to enjoy a meal when you feel like you’re being nickeled-and-dimed. Restaurants should be transparent about pricing — especially when the item in question is in the name of the dish.
We’ve been going to Annabella’s since they opened, but over a $2 unfair upcharge we won’t be going back again.
