Always a delicious treat! I dont have a GK near me so when I saw it close by, I knew what was for lunch!!
Large curry chicken, white rice, extra gravy with cabbage…no plantain please!! Oh. My. Goodness….sooo delicious.
The staff was friendly. The young man entertained my “more gravy, please. A little more…more ” with a smile and a chuckle. But it was worth it.
I paused and sat outside to enjoy thee feast before me. Saying hello to a few folks walking in as I did. It was a perfect meal. Great space to sit. Clean restroom and enough for 2 meals!!
Try it. Thank me later!

Best Golden Krust.
“Welcome in!” As soon as you walk through the door. The customer service is warm and authentic. All of the food is fresh, because it doesn’t last long! If you dine in to eat, you can really see how BUSY this restaurant is. And most customers seem like regulars, often following their order with “just like last time.” I personally recommend everything on the menu, especially the chicken soup *served on Wednesday* My kids love the mild beef patties and the tamarind candy.

I shop at this location if not every day, every other day!
Very good food….
So I purchase a large soup on a daily basis it was the 2nd time I encounter this one particular worker who gives me broth instead of soup. I have never experienced purchasing soup and having a cap on it contents. I was told with a large soup you get only two dumplings and two potatoes for portion control. A large soup is almost 12$ for two dumplings, two potatoes one piece of chicken are whatever type of meat and carrots…..
If this Lady is ever serving when I come to this location I will walk out. She’s the only employee who does that and when I got home and realized I only had broth I called and was told that ridiculousness….
I don’t spend 12$ for broth!

The establishment is clean, and the atmosphere is light. The oxtail was delicious but a little steep, even though you’re served close to a pound of oxtail. You can get two good meals out of the small size or share the meal.

The service was lacking and insensitive. I ordered my food through DoorDash and part of my order was missing. When I reported it, I was told to pick it up myself, which required me to leave my mother, who has cancer and is under my care.
I reordered through DoorDash, and my food was forgotten again. I explained that this was not just about the food—it was about having to repeatedly leave my sick mother to correct their mistake. At the very least, I expected some effort, empathy, or a callback. None was provided.
This experience showed a complete lack of care and sensitivity.

Delicious food. I really like the food, but the customer service is horrible EVERY time I come in. I had the Snapper with carrots, peppers, onions, rice and peas and macaroni and cheese.
Edit: Today I got the Curry Salmon, Cabbage, Rice, plantains. The last two times I came in they got my order wrong. I always ask for more cabbage than rice, but when you order the fish they cook to order. I tell them exactly how I want my plate, but they don’t listen. They always make my plate before asking me what I want on it. This time I didn’t even get to choose which rice I wanted. The plates I get are $25+. At least take the time to ask me how I want it instead of just throwing the fish into a premade plate. Then you want to get an attitude when I speak up.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The food tasted incredible, perfectly seasoned and freshly made. The customer service was top notch the staff was kind, patient and very attentive.. I recommend it to anybody weh love real Jamaican food. Big up di team respect every time!

I was craving oxtail and having lived in Atlanta I’ve had my fair share of great Caribbean food so I wasn’t necessarily ecstatic about trying this mainstream place however I felt it’d scratch the itch. The food wasn’t bad at all but the service wasn’t the best. The young lady fixing my plate did not speak even though I spoke first- cool. She cherry picked through the oxtails to ensure I didn’t get too much I’m assuming? The young man at the cash register was pleasant though. I ordered a spicy beef patty and was given a mild one instead. Food was still decent. Gave me the fix I was seeking. The restaurant itself was pretty basic in decor, nothing impressive. I can’t/ won’t really complain about the prices because inflation is affecting everything… if you want to scratch the itch and can’t get to authentic Caribbean food then it’s worth the try. Just don’t expect stellar service.
