Food always tastes fresh. Cost is comparable to other places in town and we like to support local when possible. Strawberry cupcake we had was delicious but it did have filling on the inside which I prefer regular cake to balance out the frosting on top. You can taste the love and quality ingredients they use. Servers are friendly. Limited tables at the moment (maybe under 10?)

Stopped for breakfast on our way to the mountain. My hubs ordered the biscuits and gravy and was so pleased with it because it was homemade. My daughter ordered Eggs Benedict and raved about it and the fresh fruit that came with it. I had a berry crepe that was soooo delicious. We will be back next Saturday! Super food and great staff.

My wife is celiac, so our options for eating out are small. The Bake House has great options. The Monty Cristo Crepe was fantastic…. and the regular biscuits and gravy I had was awesome and tasted homemade. This is a place I look forward to trying again and again.

Walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile and good morning. It was my first time here the staff gave me great suggestions of customer favorites. The crepes were light and delicious!! Would definitely recommend and will be back to try more!

3rd time going to the Bakehouse. 1st time was back in July, and service was ok. Not the greatest, also not the worst either, but the food was excellent. 2nd time was in August, and there were great improvements to service and food was spot on again. Came in a 3rd time this September and the coffee, food, and service were fantastic. I had the same thing every time (hot hammy and a black coffee) I went to gauge any change in quality, and there wasn’t any. This will be my go-to recommended spot for breakfast from here on.

I had such high hopes for this bakery when I walked in. Unfortunately the breakfast sandwich left a lot to be desired. It was dry toast, a dry scrambled egg square, and cheese that never made it to the melting point. My husband’s Asiago bagel egg and cheese sandwich at least had some flavor (Asiago). Disappointed also that there was no espresso machine. On the plus side, their cake in the bakery case looked so cute and it’s in a pretty building.

One waitress forgot a detailed order by the time she got into the kitchen and had to retake it 3 minutes later. The people behind the counter seen very unhappy. The bagels sandwiches are dry (to echo other reviews). Some improvements would be

1. If they are having trouble with the details of the order; they should just print a piece of paper with all the choices (Types of bread, toppings, eggs, side meat, cheese) and check them off for each entry choice.

No matter what; put butter, melted cheese or cream cheese on all bagels (put it on the choices mentioned above) unless stated otherwise

Otherwise they have a lot of potential and it’s the only choice for a breakfast place in town (besides once or twice a year, the Cowboy Cafe and the walk up at The Java Moon on Mainsteet) because it’s quick, well priced and easy. It’s so much better than other options here (you don’t want to know about what I’ve seen over the years at the other options on main; believe me).

The place feels cold and dark. The young man that waited on us was slow and seemed like he was either not awake or on something. He brought the menus first (to our sticky, dirty table) and asked if we knew what we wanted. We literally just got the menu. We asked for water, coffee with cream, and a green tea. He had to come back to ask about the tea since he’d forgotten. He brought the coffee, no cream and the tea and later came back with the water and I asked for the cream. The coffee is literally awful…some kind of weirdly sweet hazelnut maybe. Ew. We ordered an avocado toast and breakfast bagel sandwich with sausage. He literally had to come back again because he forgot again by the time he made it to the kitchen. He came back a second time for my choice of cheese. The sausage on the bagel was paper thin and way over cooked. A very lackluster won’t be back visit.

Your short glasses wearing server with the brown hair needs and attitude adjustment. Terrible service, rude, unaccomodating. Messed up everyone’s orders, multiple times. No comps, no sorry, just attitude. Food was ok besides being wrong.
