Listen here: the last 3 times I’ve come to this location, I’ve had exceptional service. It is always clean and the front line women are polite and efficient. I’ve had different women each time. I overheard that it is slow right now… if you go to Popeye’s in PG, come to the one on MLK. I meant to write a review sooner with pictures and all that, but I could not leave here again without giving props. Please keep up the good work. And if the turn over is high-I blame corporate–you all need to get your employee appreciation and benefits together.

Never ordering from this place again. I ordered a 3pc combo with fries and mashed potatoes. I was trust the guy made more order correctly and put everything in the bag. I get home only to see no receipt, and all they gave me was a bunch of fries smashed potatoes….no biscuit no chicken at all!!! And I can’t contact customer support to report the issue cause he didn’t put my receipt in the bag.

This Popeyes is the absolute worst. Customer service and food is bottom of the barrel quality. They never have fresh chicken ready, then they give you attitude how long before fresh chicken is ready. I took my chicken back for a refund because I’m tired of repeatedly being served old chicken. The manager Donald was very rude and even allowed one of his young, female employees to consistently make rude remarks and comments to me as a customer, right in front of his face. I’ve patronized this location for many many years and visit at least twice a week, but the franchise owner and/or corporate needs to oversee a definite overhaul of this establishment. Until then, I will be going out of my way to give another Popeyes my business. I will say that when the daytime, lady General Manager (long dreads) is on site, there’s a visible difference in the quality of service provided. She runs that establishment very well and it’s obvious that she’s a gem. I wish she could be there day and night. Unfortunately, I usually stop by in the evening for dinner and she’s already gone for the day.

Popeyes chicken is always great. I love the biscuits as well! but sometimes they are just a lil hard, which means they may have been sitting to long. Pls check your biscuits before selling them. I will make sure to check them from now on.

The females working the drive thru are rude and shouldn’t b in customer service. Like most fast food places the sauces come out of the employee’s paychecks that’s why they’re so stingy with them. I got a lot of food and I asked for some sauce, the girl working the drive thru acted like she really didn’t want to give me any. Every location I’ve been to makes their chicken too salty. I ordered a 5 piece tender platter spicy. The young lady quickly brings the food over and I checked it because they had another customer come in from the drive thru because they had gotten her order wrong. When I checked my box there were 2 decent sized tenders, the remainder was 3 obviously old broken off pieces of a tender. I asked to speak with the manager who very nonchalantly walked over. She then looked at the chicken and states spicy tenders are only made to order, so I had the option to wait or go with mild. Because I was in a rush, I opted for the mild. With no sense of urgency and a devious grin, the same young lady proceedsW to make another batch. This time I ask her to leave the box open. This time one piece of chicken is obviously old and small. I literally take it out of the box and break it apart asking her if she would put this in her mouth or serve it to her loved ones. She again with no sense of urgency takes the box and added more chicken without taking the old burned one out. This Popeyes has gone down hill and it’s unfortunate. I could understand if they were busy, but there was 1 car in line and no one in the front lobby. Still took me 15 minutes to walk out with my food, that wasn’t even freshly made.

The manager at this location provided horrible customer service. She was rude and unprofessional and with that behavior should not be in a management position. I left the restaurant before being served, because I did not want to spend my money there. The incident occurred 8/21/25 around 11:30 am. They were obviously short-staffed, which I understand, but don’t take it out on the customer. I will not be back to this location.

i have had a bad experience every time and this is my 3rd time and the worst one yet , took my money after placing an order find out their closed how i’m i allowed to place and order and you then turn around and say closed ????? make it make sense so now i’m going thru a lot for an inconvience they created , the other two times bad service two female employees bickering one looked like a manager african lady and the other one black female with glasses and braids they’re obviously overwhelmed but that don’t excuse your poor service and then the second time again poor service but one lady manager i believe black older woman angela very nice and did accomadate me but it’s no way i should go thru hurdles at a fast food restaurant it’s supposed to be fast right lol ? smh popeyes still goin get my money just NOT this location terrible
