My coffee was lovely but it’s the little extra that prompted my review. Since I mentioned I was waiting for my dog who was with The Dog Groomer around the corner, the friendly staff offered a little container, saying, ‘We have our own version of a puppachino – hope he likes it!’ That’s over and above. #BACONtreat

My friends and I were hiking close by, and when we were finished, we all agreed on finding somewhere to eat. Ended up finding this place, it has a nice diner vibe to it, lots on the menu to choose from, and specials as well. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was nice and clean. My friend and I got the chicken ceasar wrap with fries, and my other friend got the BLT sandwich with fries. We were happy with our food that tasted great and made with quality ingredients. I’d definitely return here in the future if I’m ever in the neighborhood again.

I had not been to this restaurant in a few years and really noticed big improvements in the menu board, the service, and the food. The food was very fresh, extremely flavourful, and well-prepared. The staff were focused on the customer, preparing food to the customers liking! There is plenty of seating and great views of the surrounding area. Great options for people of all ages. Everything is available for takeout. Perfect for recharging after hiking the nearby conservation areas.

My mom and I went to the trail eatery today, and it was nothing short of wonderful!
I used to go there almost every day in 2017 as I worked at a farm down the road and every now and again I go back,
This place never disappoints! The food was so wonderful my mom and I both got the Philly cheesesteak and it was DELICIOUS!!! I got us both the peanut butter Reece’s cookie and it’s always amazing! Fresh and divine!
Thank you to the wonderful staff who helped me decide what I wanted as I wasn’t sure, and just they are so friendly and kind!!!

I was in the area on an early morning vet run and I waited for 1.5 hours for this restaurant to open on time and let me tell you they are worth the wait. Great service, food, ambiance and the coffee was great. I am going back in the near future.

Love stopping in at The Trail Eatery after a weekend hike. The staff are friendly and attentive and the meals have been very good. It can get busy but that tells you it’s a known fave. Check it out if you’re in the area.

Our first time here… just fabulous experience. The cashier (think she is from India) was amazing – didn’t rush in taking our order, made great suggestions, had a great smile, and even thanked us for our business.

We were passing through and decided to stop for food. I ordered a kid’s breakfast (two eggs, potatoes, sausages, and toast) and found that it was plenty enough for me, despite being advertised as a kid’s meal haha! Plus a huuuuuuge mug of hot chocolate Friends also ordered a personal pizza. The food was great, and the people were very nice. Would definitely visit again!

A cute cozy reataurant with such a welcoming and warm staff!
Dropped by for quick breakfast and had a wonderful time. Everything is great.. good portions, smiling servers and amazing vibe. Highly recommend it and I will be returning soon! Very close to the Halton conservation areas so I would suggest grabbing a bite there every time one goes for a hike!

Really good food, fast service and the waitress was very sweet. Has a nice small town, family owned feel. Very generous portions and expansive menu. Worth stopping for a coffee at, getting a small meal or coming for a full meal. Right off the highway, so a convenient place to stop on the way to or from Toronto.
