We were excited to try a Michelin recommended restaurant. We were greeted immediately upon entering, and the experience went down from there. There were 3 servers, and 3 tables filled when we got there. There was definitely difficuly in communicating with the server. We had Chile Chicken MoMo & Tandoori Wings for appetizers. The Chile MoMo had a kick (even though we were informed that mild spice was an option)…yes we were aware they would have spice. The wings were saucy, but nothing special to describe. Then we ordered Goat Curry & Lamb Chops. The lamb chops were seasoned yet overcooked/dry. The garlic naan was the best item of the entire meal. When the bill came, we used cash & credit card for payment. The server requsted his tip in cash since the tipping buttons didn’t work on the machine. This was a one & done restaurant experience for us.

So glad we found this spot! The food is honestly so good and Sampada (our waitress) was amazing with her suggestions. Been here 2-3 fridays already with friends and it’s become a fave!

Must-tries: lime soda(nepali one), chicken chilli (so fab we had it twice ), tandoori wings(damn good, ordered twice), cheese naans, fried rice and gorkhali chicken…

Definitely a place worth checking out!

We came after church on a Sunday to try something different and we weren’t disappointed! It was not busy when we came. In spite of its humble location and decor, this place definitely deserves its Michelin Bib Gourmand status. My husband had the lemonade (which my he switched up for Coke), I liked it, but it wasn’t his taste. My daughter had the Summer in Nepal which she described as a margarita with a salt rim vibe – they brought her a taste before the full glass and she liked it. I had the Nepalese Chiya which was a little creamy like a chai latte that I really enjoyed. Then we had the fried chicken momos (amazing with a sauce that’s about as spicy as Buffalo), garlic naan, cheese naan (wonderful), Nepalese Kaja Set, Tandoori shrimp (flavorful and perfectly cooked with a nice mint chutney), the Himalayan Meal, Kheer, and Rasbari. The Kaja Set is a nice sampling with two types of chicken, a delicious soup with black eyed peas and bamboo, crunchy spicy soybeans which were quite spicy, beaten rice (which we found interesting, but not our favorite, and pickled vegetables that did not have a very noticeable vinegar flavor but were light and refreshing. The Nepalese meal has nice jasmine rice, some mild and very tender lentils, Gorkhali chicken which was tender with a great flavor that’s not too spicy, sautéed mixed greens, more of the pickled vegetables, some potato fries and a yogurt sauce. I really wanted to try the Rabri, but they have had trouble getting all the ingredients, so we enjoyed their other desserts instead.
It’s about an hour drive for us, but we will be back!

Absolutely incredible experience. The Aloo Bodi Tama might be my new all-time favorite soup. Everything we tried was delicious.

I’ve been really wanting to try this place and it did not disappoint with the flavors of the different dishes we got. Pictured is the chicken 65, steam dumplings, pan fried dumplings (which is essentially the steam dumplings but pan fried, nothing different with the filling inside FYI), kids tikka massala chicken and the curry chicken thaali. We also got a garlic naan, not pictured but it was very oily. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because one the servers had really bad BO and was literally reaching over our tables to put some items, definitely not okay especially when you are trying to enjoy a meal. Another reason is because our server didn’t ask us if we wanted different heat levels and we didn’t even knew that was an option, we only heard they ask the other party next to us after we were already paying for our food. Also the booth that we were seated at one of the benches was broken to sit on. Small errors that can definitely be corrected but please do better when it comes to service.

Our second time having Nepalese food, this restaurant was great! The Kathmandu chowmein was excellent with a good level of spicy and we tried the tandoori mix which had lamb, chicken and shrimp, all great. Also tried the sweet naan which was very different, but good! Would certainly return to this nice restaurant, friendly service.

I AM SICK the next day. I am truly unsure how there are great reviews on this place. So to start, I ate the Nepalese Khaja set, I wanted the chance to try various dishes from a different cuisine than I have tried. That was a real mistake, first off the aloo ko achar (I believe) whatever soup comes with that dish is DISGUSTING AND INEDIBLE. Do not AND I REPEAT do not order this. My chicken was dry and overcooked and hard. I have found out it must’ve been old chicken because I am currently sick with food poisoning. The sides that come with the chicken were fragrant and yummy.

My husband had the butter chicken which, mind you, was the tastiest butter chicken sauce I’ve ever had. He said the chicken was gamey, but he is not currently sick.

The garlic naan was good, the mango lassi delicious and the Galub Jamun was delicious.

The service was good, but if I was getting urine soup then I wish I had been warned. I found a review from a year ago of someone saying that soup was inedible and smelled like a cleaning chemical, I think it smelled strongly of cat urine.

TLDR: IN CONCLUSION, the Nepalese Khaja set is DISGUSTING and will give you food poisoning. The butter chicken, garlic naan, mango lassi and galub jamun are good. GORKHALI FIX YOUR MENU AND TAKE OFF THE DISGUSTING ITEMS AND DONT SERVE OLD FOOD AND MAKE PEOPLE SICK.

I visited this Nepali restaurant recently and had a fantastic experience! The Gobi Manchurian was a standout—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and bursting with flavor.

The fried rice and chowmein noodles were equally amazing—packed with taste and made even better with the option to customize the spice level to your preference.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving delicious Nepali-Chinese fusion food!

We shared the Timur chicken appetizer, it was absolutely delicious, so moist and delicious. We also love the fried okra, crispy but not greasy.
Coconut curry chicken and chicken korma are also my favorites. The chef takes his time and it shows.
Service is friendly and attentive. Place always looks clean and inviting. We love this place and recommend it to all our friends.
