Food: 3/5 (Good food for an ice cream place!)
Service: 5/5 (Very kind and helpful staff)
Atmosphere: 5/5 (great ice cream hangout spot for the summer)

Dairy Korner is a must-have, especially in the summer. This ice cream spot sits in Saint Joseph, MI. Stopped for a treat, and I enjoyed every bit of it. It was great to hear the laughter of children, teens working, and adults getting out with their children.

The food was good, the ice cream was amazing, and I appreciated the sale of cold drinks while waiting for food.

The service and atmosphere were amazing, as it was catered for the summer.

Parking is a little tight, as there is a parking lot in the back area. All in all, it’s a very great spot for the summer!

Visiting area from Indiana, this place has been here a long time and decided to try it. I got the Nick Parfey – Vanilla ice cream with hot fudge, carmel and chocolate peanut butter crumbles topped with whipped cream. My friend had a small hot fudge sundae. Both were delicious. Definitely recommend.

Great ice cream made the way you like it. They have real Vienna Beef hot dogs. The new owner is great! The staff is lively and friendly and fast. Very clean. Prices are fair. I wii be back often. Gotta get me more hotdogs.

As a suggestion, the tinted windows in the front makes it hard to tell if they are open or not. The OPEN sign is hard to see from the road. They need something bold, bright, flashy, eye catching on front to show they are open.

Great place for something cold on a hot summer day. Many unique flavor combinations of Flurrys / shakes (see pics) and a lot of unique ice cream treats, like the “USS Korner” – a patriotic red white and blue banana split with red & blue ice cream dips, marshmallow cream and sprinkles, or for Disney fans, try the “Hawaiian Float” – a Dole Whip with a Sierra Mist. Older kids are big fans of the amazing Italian Sodas (try the “Tiger’s Blood”). In addition to ice cream, they also have grilled / fried food like burgers, hot dogs, fries, etc..

Normally I’m not one to post “complaints,” but I had a couple on this visit. Let me start by saying it was my family’s first time here. Pulling up the novelty of the signage and building is fun and lures you in. The parking lot is small, and even though there was a line, there were several open parking spots.

The soft serve was your average soft serve–vanilla, chocolate or twist. But here’s my first complaint. Do they have other flavors? One item on the Specials menu says it’s served with an ice cream called Blue Goo. What is that? And what about all the other flavors shown on the short “Now Serving” sign? Blue Goo was on there. But when I ordered, I was told my ice cream choices were the aforementioned vanilla, chocolate or a twist of the two. I guess I could have asked, but it was hot out, with a blazing sun, and having waited in line a while with a line now behind me, I felt I didn’t have the opportunity to explore the menu with the nice young man who took my order.

The other major complaint was trash. We sat beside the building in the shaded area, which was nice. But when we were finished, the trash can was overflowing with garbage, and there was nowhere else to throw stuff away outside. I walked around the building only to peak inside and find the one other trash can there, an open bin that was itself already 3/4ths full.

My kids loved their cherry dipped vanilla cones (NB: small size is a good portion), so we were happy, and I call the trip a success. But with the grown-ups orders being just okay, and the couple of nit-picks, I was hoping for a bit more.

Best Chicago Dog in Southwest Michigan, easily so. The hamburgers also are fantastic. Oh, and the custard and ice creams are excellent. I go there as much for the Chicago Dogs as I do anything else. Nice people as well, excellent service. Food looks fresh, is fresh, and is a work of art all nicely presented.

I have had a wonderful experience every time I have been here great friendly customer service the food and desert options are of a good variety something for everyone. I especially like the online ordering system can pick everything instead of writing Down what you want and don’t want on a special instruction line.

It’s a cute looking independent restaurant/ice cream store so we thought we’d give it a try. The food (cheeseburgers, not complicated) took 20 minutes & were undercooked and weirdly salty and the chicken tasted like freeze dried breaded breading. On the plus side, the shakes were tasty .

Kids like stopping here after a day at the beach. We only had ice cream. They had vanilla, chocolate and pistachio on the menu today. The cone is definitely a better value. The medium cone provided much more ice cream than the same size in a cup. They also have Sundaes and added ingredient options.
