Beans & Brews Coffee House has been crafting exceptional coffee since 1993, when the Laramie family opened their first shop near Salt Lake City’s Liberty Park. Inspired by Utah’s mountains, we perfected high-altitude roasting to create smooth, bold flavors that set us apart.
From our roots in Utah, we’ve grown into a beloved community across Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, Missouri, and Texas. At “Beans,” as our friends call us, we’re all about great coffee and even better connections. I’m new to the Idaho area and I was thrilled that they have a beans and brews near me. I’ve been to this location twice now and both times the coffee I’ve gotten has been AWFUL! I’ve been going to beans and brews for the past 15 years and I am well a where that a tan iced mocha is a pre made drink they just add white chocolate to the premade mocha drink. I’ve been getting the same drink for YEARS! When I come here, they try and make their own version of a tan iced mocha. I had to tell them how their drink is supposed to be made! Absolutely ridiculous! So disappointed that my favorite Utah coffee shop is absolutely awful out here in Idaho! Someone please come and train your employees out here how to make your drinks right! You can even see the difference in the 2 drinks!

Got a cold brew and a skinny vanilla latte. Two very simple drinks however our coffee was AWFUL. I’m not sure if it’s cheap beans or what the issue was but both coffee’s were so terrible we immediately threw them away. Do not recommend. There is a Starbucks next door.

The gal that took my order was so sweet and fun. She helped me figure out my gift card balances and made sure my experience was memorable. Coffee is tasty and not expensive. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try new places.

The trainee and the trainer this morning was fantastic!
So welcoming, patient, and the drinks were delicious.
If we have any more outings to Star we’d happily grab our coffee from here every time.

Super great service. The coffee shop manager is very pleasant and friendly. I enjoy grabbing a coffee and a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese and taking a moment to catch up on emails etc. Typically no wait time like some other coffee joints. Plus there is a hardware store!
