First time visiting the Ale House, what a beautiful structure, you can feel the history inside of it, between the one foot wide wooden beams, history of the building is irreplaceable, my party of 5 and I had no issues getting a Table, Erin Was our Waiter she was very nice and super attentive, food took a little bit to arrive (8pm on a Wednesday) but when it did show up, all five meals were extremely hot and fresh prepared with very good ingredients, we will definitely be visiting again. Such a cool experience and great place for dinner

⭐ Best Beer & Burger Experience EVER! ⭐
I can’t say enough good things—this place is an absolute MUST-VISIT! The burgers were insanely delicious, the beer was perfect, and the service? A solid 10 out of 10!
A huge shoutout to Leah, my server, who made the whole experience even better with her friendly attitude and amazing service.
I’m already planning my next visit. Must come back!!! ✨

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local as we were passing through Coldwater. We’re so thankful because we wouldn’t have found it on our own! We loved the historical integrity of the building as well as the personal design touches! The food was incredible! We plan to make the drive back up again!

A fun place to eat. Watching the train was cute. The food was good and the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. Overall great experience and I would go back. The Wisconsin cheese squares were very tasty, as was the white cheddar mac. The patty melt was very good and the regular fries were tasty and had a good crisp. I wasn’t as big as fan of their sweet potatoes fries. The stacked chicken was pretty good also.

French onion soup was great!
Didn’t care for the maple glaze on the salmon. The rice was also great.
Good selection of beers and wines.

Trainwreck is absolutely amazing. The food is delicious. Especially the appetizers. Try the crab dip, spinach dip, blooming onion or runaway fries. The burger and other hot sandwiches are good. The fettuccine alfredo with steak was probably the only thing I would say tasted a little bland. The mixed drinks are delicious and their brownie dessert with ice cream is rich and creamy. Definitely a great place to have lunch with your friends and family!

Overall our entire group of 7 did not enjoy. We sadly went here on a Saturday during lunch time… Not knowing that they ONLY allow you to order from their very weird brunch menu until 2pm.
The options on the menu are completely different than anything they actually serve for dinner.
They don’t allow you to get regular fries instead of sweet potato fries. They tried to charge us extra money for the bacon that is included on their Bacon Burger.
They have a flight of cold coffee’s, however you are not able to order just one individually from that flight.
Everyone in the party was dissatisfied with their food and left hungry. The food was small, bland, and oddly greasy.
The name of Trainwreck truly describes the experience that you will have here and the food that you would consume.
I cannot recommend anyone to come eat here. And it seems like most everyone has already deduced this as when we were there… There was only 1 other table in the restaurant. After they left 1 other person came in. So when we left it was just that sad lonely customer. Again… During a Saturday at the prime time of lunch.
I cannot blame the server for her job/service, but rather the management. The lack of communication/collaboration between their front of house and back of house managers is going to run this business into the ground.

What an interesting location! The apple butter porkchops were to die for!! The sangria was really great too. They had a handfulof decent craft beers on tap too.

The character of the establishment is something to come back for. If you have time to check out the upstairs, it’s really neat. Each table is enclosed on 3 sides and it’s open-space with high ceilings so you feel like you have privacy while still being included in the hustle and bustle of the restaurant. Very neat space!

Cozy, historic atmosphere with excellent food and service. The restaurant is set in a charming old building with warm wood walls and beautiful stained-glass accents was a perfect setting for a meal. The spinach artichoke dip was outstanding, especially with their homemade chips. I also ordered the filet, which was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and checked in regularly. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town. PLUS, there was a live singer/guitarist which was great!!!
