We’ve been going to this restaurant for more than 15 years. They changed ownership but the quality of the food is the same, delicious!
The place is clean. The restroom is clean. The owner and service are friendly, polite, and attentive. What more can we want?
Parking can be difficult but as their neighbor businesses are closed at night, it was easy to find a parking spot. There are only a few items that are not vegan but almost the entire menu is.

Delicious food, great service, great atmosphere. Service was super friendly. Place was super hygienic. As someone who eats meat, it is absolutely worth the try! The flavors were immaculate. Loved it!

First time here. Compare to other vegetarian Vietnamese food at other places, this place is not heavy and feels healthy. Too far from my house, or I would come every week. Service is good and food comes out fast.

They open 5 hours a day 3:30pm-8:30pm daily except Tuesday. Serving vegetarian Vietnamese cuisine.
We got sweet and sour tamarind soup ($10.95)
Fish clay pot ($10.95). You could also get egg plant or tofu. This comes out sizzling hot.
Banana flower salad ($9.95) it’s the same banana flower used in bun Bo hue. This salad is refreshing with the fish sauce.
As far as Vietnamese vegetarian dishes, I don’t find this place any different than the temple or any other Viet vegetarian restaurant in OC. But the service, freshness, quickness and prices were all outstanding.

As I’m sitting here, waiting for my delicious food to arrive at my table, I was just thinking that I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed one of my favorite places to eat.
Not only does this place serve up amazing vegan Vietnamese food, but it is just all around an amazing Vietnamese food.
My go to is usually the vermicelli rice bowl (massive) and/or pho and when we order food to go we usually order food for a couple of days because, really, the price also can’t be beat. Oh, another great staple is their fried rice.
It’s a small place with a few tables inside and it seems like a family affair with maybe one in the front one in the back cooking. The service is quick and kind.
Whatever they are doing I hope they keep doing it because I love coming here. The only downside is they are not open for lunch.

If you found my review helpful, please like it . Since I love eating meat and not really a vegetarian, I was very hesitant in eating here. However, the food was delicious while adhering to the Vietnamese flavors. The people who work there are not only hospitable but really personable. I am impressed by their customer service in both English and Vietnamese. We had Garlic “chicken”, eggplant braised in a clay pot, and fresh spring rolls with “pork” and “shrimp” with peanut sauce. I plan to return in the future.

Small is size but big in taste. Bun Hue Chay was very good. Everyone in our group enjoyed. The staff were very friendly, enthusiastic and fun.

Good service and good food. The fried rice and egg rolls were great. We did think the Pho was too sweet (like a lot of vegan places). The flan is great. The prices are wonderful as well.

The food was amazing. Our party tried four dishes, and all of them were so good, it was hard to pick a favorite. The fried tofu was crispy and light, with a really refreshing sauce. The shaken “beef” was perfect, with really great roasted potatoes. I loved the crispy “fish” and spicy “chicken” as well. Even if you’re not vegetarian, you won’t miss meat when you eat here. Nice drink options too.
The food came out fast, and our server was really attentive. I wish I lived in this area so I could come here more often.

Excellent food and service. We ordered Thai iced tea and young coconut, spring rolls, spicy Thai fried rice and spicy garlic chicken. All vegan and all delicious. Spicy means hot and on a scale of 1-10 ours tasted like a 7. All good
