We came for hibachi as a group of eight to celebrate a birthday. When you walk in, the restaurant seems very nice, and the host was very friendly. The hibachi area is upstairs, and it’s not as nice as the downstairs dining room. The air vents were dirty and made a loud noise, everything felt a bit dated, and the bathrooms were quite messy.

Despite that, the staff was friendly and our hibachi chef was funny and entertaining. The food was average hibachi. Between all of us, we tried every protein. I had the filet mignon and chicken, both were amazing, and the portions were large, especially the steak. The fried noodles had an odd taste, but everything else was fine.

We also tried most of the desserts, and they were pretty average. The cheesecakes were slightly frozen, and the coating on the fried ice cream was very thick. They weren’t bad, just nothing special.

Overall, it’s basic hibachi, good but nothing special. But the price is good, the service is great and it’s still the best hibachi in the area!

I’m extremely disappointed after last night’s experience, especially since we’ve been loyal customers since this restaurant opened.
We ordered two gluten-free hibachi dinners. When I called to place the order, I specifically asked about the hibachi sauces to confirm which were gluten free because my husband has celiac disease. I was told one sauce was not gluten free, so I clearly asked for double yum yum sauce only and not the other sauce. I was told that would be fine.
When we got home, I wasn’t in the kitchen when my husband started preparing his meal. I then noticed he had used the non-gluten-free sauce—the very sauce I had asked not to be included. It was inside the bag labeled as gluten free. At that point, he couldn’t eat his meal at all.
I called the restaurant to explain what happened and why the sauce was included despite my clear request. I was told the meal would be remade, so I drove back to the restaurant and returned the contaminated meal since neither of us could eat it.
That’s when things got worse. I was told I had to pay again. I was shocked and explained that I would not be paying twice for a meal that was made incorrectly and returned. The woman then started yelling at me, saying it was my fault for putting the sauce on the food. I explained again that the issue was why a non-gluten sauce was placed in a gluten-free order in the first place.
Her response was that it “wasn’t her fault” because she didn’t know if someone else in my family could eat it—which makes no sense since we ordered two gluten-free hibachi dinners. When I looked around for a manager, she rudely shoved the bag toward me and yelled, “Take it!” As I was leaving and calmly said this was not okay—especially when dealing with food allergies—she began yelling in Chinese to another employee.
This was completely unprofessional and concerning. If a restaurant claims to take gluten-free orders seriously, there must be better protocols, training, and accountability. Someone with celiac disease cannot be exposed to gluten “by accident.” If you order gluten-free hibachi here, be aware that they may still include gluten-containing sauces and take no responsibility when it causes a problem.
Very disappointed, and sadly not sure we’ll be back.

Everything just tasted funky…. I ordered the mango spicy chicken, steamed dumplings, house salad and lemonade while my parents ordered the teriyaki chicken, house salad and Thai coconut milk chicken.

The first thing that was off to me that should have been a red flag was even the lemonade tasted strange, I am not expecting anything fresh but just a standard lemonade that does not taste old, it tasted off in a way that is hard to describe. The house salad was cold like it just got out of the freezer, drowned in this orange dressing that was good and had an East Asian style of dressing but it was over powering. There was a pool of orange dressing after I finished eating the lettuce and cucumber, some pieces of lettuce was even hiding in the pool of dressing and it was in a small portion. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the salad but it was a little less than the bowl of rice. The dumplings came in a unique shape but the dough was a little undercooked and chewy, the filling inside also did not taste fresh, the soy sauce dip was the best part of the dish. The mango spicy chicken was something I tried as an experiment and already knew it would be a 50/50 to my liking and it was okay. The mango pieces and vegetables were good however, the sauce was lacking more seasoning and the rice to meat ratio for all meals was off. For 18-20$ I would hope you would get a little more rice than that, especially when the white rice was the best part out of everything ordered.

Lastly, the commonly known staple meal, teriyaki chicken, was a disaster. It was tasteless like someone boiled chicken then tossed it in a thin sauce, you can tell by the photo. Plus, it randomly came with a side of yams? The broccoli was also a side and it came just steamed/boiled, clearly no salt added. Overall, the meals lacked freshness, seasoning and authenticity of Japanese and Chinese cuisine to an extent. I would give this restaurant 3 stars but for how much you’re spending per a meal it automatically becomes a 1 or 2. I recommend this restaurant to people who have money to spend and are not big on flavor.

At the end of the day we spent 80$ for a below average meal… Don’t get me wrong the staff were great, attentive and timely, this restaurants excels more in cleanliness, customer service, decor/atmosphere than food. If I’m being honest with you, I’m scared to try the left overs of the Thai chicken or any of the plenty of leftovers we took home to make the most out of we spent.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly right in front of us — everything from the fried rice to the steak and chicken was top-notch. The chef was friendly and did a nice job keeping the experience engaging. The portions were generous, and all the flavors came together perfectly. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for great food, a fun atmosphere, and solid service — this place is definitely worth a visit!

Disappointing. Went inside to place an order to ensure dietary restriction could be honored for take-out for a new mom who was REALLY looking forward to sushi after giving birth and also happens to require a gluten free diet. First, there were limited gf options compared to most restaurants that serve sushi, but we found a few and they specifically said they’d provide gf soy sauce with the order. Well, got to the hospital and discovered there was only 1 packet for 4 rolls and an entree. Disappointing.
I know I won’t be back…. and it also wasn’t a good first impression for the recipient who likely will never visit now either.

Food was great, sushi was great, and the drinks were perfect. I gave a 4 star for service because our server didn’t offer to get me another drink. Instead, she filled my water cup. We had to find the waitress for our check and then had to go find her again to pay.

Toro for hibachi was wonderful, the chef was interactive, brought balloon characters for the kids to have and was funny for the adults. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that neither upstairs or downstairs bathrooms had a baby changing table.

One of my favorite Asian restaurants! Everything on the menu is excellent, fresh, cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The interior excels in form and function; soft lighting from Japanese lanterns along with decor that doubles as sound dampening makes for a quiet and pleasing meal. Portions are generous enough I usually end up bringing some home.
