We popped into Zesto in Newberry before a concert in town. We felt welcomed and the service was fast and good…Several items listed on the wall menu were not available BUT the burgers and fries were fresh, hot and delicious! Love that the fries were not salty at all…The ice cream was very good too! We would go back…and will!

Out for a girls day..We had lunch and walked around town. After all the walking we decided we needed dessert.
We ordered the banana split and decided to split it between the three of us. It was large and in charge. It was enough for all three of us. It was very nicely made. We set outside and ate and the smell that was coming from the kitchen was delicious. We decided next time we are in town we plan on eating there.

It to me personally was just kinda ok. The cheese on the burgers was in no way melted or even melting to the patty. Patties appeared like they was smashed during the cooking which removes most the flavor. I’d go back, but I’d probably try a different meal

my dad and i are very loyal customers of the zesto’s in both columbia and cayce. i live closer to newberry than either of those locations, so i thought i’d try the newberry location for dinner. never again. every other location i’ve been to has a 6 wing dinner on the menu. 6 decent sized wings (nice big wings at cayce), fries, a roll, and a side of slaw. this location does not have that. instead, i ordered the “party wings”, 6 of them, which came with a side of fries along with a tea. tea was okay, not my favorite in the world but i did finish it. i paid 12 dollars and some change for my meal. the wings were miniscule. i’m talking smaller than zaxby’s wings. fries were okay, not salted very well.

I was actually kind of disappointed. I wanted to share a part of my childhood with my daughter so I took her to Zesto’s on her birthday because I remembered all the tips that they would put the ice cream in if you wanted, cherry, chocolate, blue raspberry, caramel… they don’t have it anymore… they are just like everyone else now and only have chocolate and caramel.

Wow. Someone brought me a grilled shrimp salad from Zesto’s in Newberry, and it was really good! The fries are also good when they are hot and fresh, but they always need salt!! The burgers are alright, too. Nothing over the top, just a decent greasy-spoon kinda local joint. This is a carry-out only place. Be prepared to wait a few minutes even if you call it in. They are usually busy at lunchtime!
