go to Panda once in a while because it’s very close to the shopping center where my business, Orient Retreat Spa, is located. We are new to Delaware, and most of the time I use DoorDash. My husband and three kids love Panda food, and my husband, who is American, also enjoys Chinese food. I usually order a family-size meal once a week.
I’ve been there two or three times, but yesterday I was impressed by one of the employees — a young woman who seemed Spanish or a little Asian. She was incredibly welcoming, cheerful, and energetic, even at 8 PM. Most people are tired at the end of the day, but she was patient, helpful, and made the experience very pleasant.
It’s rare to see young workers with such a positive attitude, and she is definitely a keeper! Every restaurant could use employees like her to make customers happy. Even though I tried to tip her $6, she politely refused, saying it wasn’t allowed. She is so honest and professional — it really impressed me!

Noticed this one got some bad reviews in the past. This particular panda is exceptionally clean. Food was hot and yummy. Help was kind and communicative. Can’t express enough the importance of cleanliness. Even dining room chair legs were clean. Good stuff.

Very poor customer service. The staff was extremely rude. I waited at the drive-through for few seconds after placing my order with no acknowledgment or response. I politely said “hi” and “hey,” and after still getting no response, I gently honked. Instead of explaining the delay, the employee immediately started yelling at me for honking, saying she was on the phone assisting another customer. There was no way for me to know that since there was zero communication. On top of that, the portion size we received was very small. Overall, a disappointing experience. I would not recommend this location.

I ordered a big plate to DoorDash. Ask for extra soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. DoorDash driver send me a message. She stated that they said it was in the bag I get my food. The big plate was not a big plate. There is no sauce, soy sauce or teriyaki sauce in the bag. I would recommend no one ever goes here. I can’t speak to the manager. The young lady that answered the phone said there wasn’t one assist on speaking to somebody that was In the supervisors position then she stated that. Manager was on break I don’t even worry about eating the food now I just threw it away but one thing about it. I don’t live here so I don’t have to worry about them again I am over the road truck driver. I will never order anything from this panda and I come here once a week in this area I could’ve gave the $20 to a homeless person but I didn’t eat it. It’s in the trash now so do not ever gonna DoorDash a Uber from this location and if I had time I would go Over there and ask for a refund I did give the driver a five star. Also looking at her car on the inside was filthy, and if I could go back and give her a rating I would and the food was trying to rest of the bag was leaking. Absolutely terrible experience. And this is supposed to be a bigger plate The rice is dry, so there’s no soy sauce or teriyaki sauce on the meat. I don’t even know how they stay in business but I will contact the corporate office and I should’ve checked the reviews before they were absolutely terrible. Lesson learned. Check the reviews of the restaurant before you order Trash, trash, trash, the worst panda I’ve ever been to or receive food trough

Arrived at Middletown Delaware location a little over 1 hours before they closed and when we arrived, we were told that they weren’t cooking any longer and that they only had what was left. Since when, 1 full hour before closing, everything is done for the night and we are offered leftovers from the day?

I was just at the Dover location and I have to say the Middletown location either set my expectations too high for a Panda Express or the Dover store is just awful. Either way, keep up the good work Middletown Panda.

We ordered from here and this is what we were delivered !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered a beef and broccoli. And they literally sent me a tea spoon sample of it!!!! Charged me 25.00 and didn’t event have half the other stuff we ordered!!!!!! There is a photo of what we got delivered!!!!! No crab Rangoon no rice just a egg roll and a tea spoon of beef and broccoli how embarrassing

My food was perfect and everything was still warm when I took my takeout order home 15 min away. I watch my carbohydrate intake, and I appreciate the many options I have at Panda. The super greens are my go to! We order panda once about every 2-3 months as a special treat for my family of eight. We will definitely be back!
