We visited Bongo’s Botanical Beer Garden for brunch and absolutely loved the atmosphere.
It’s such a vibrant and unique place with live music that creates the perfect laid-back Key West vibe. Even in February, the place was completely full — which says a lot.
The artistic installations and creative details all around make it feel like an open-air gallery. Every corner has something interesting to look at. It’s definitely not just a restaurant — it’s an experience.
A very unusual and memorable spot that will definitely stay with you long after you leave.

This is my Jawn!!! They have by far the best Açaí bowl I’ve had south of Miami and their Poke Bowl is phenomenal. Honestly everything on the menu is BOMB.
They have great cocktails and the staff is top Knotch. By the way they are also Dog and Pet friendly.
Take a pull on the cable park or have the kids jam out on the Aqua park while the parents enjoy the cool vibes at Bongos. My kids loved it here. We would highly recommend the whole operation.

The bartender/server Olivia was phenomenal, Mike was great to talk to, helped with beer selection. The 3 cooks, Emmanuel is the only name I got, cooked an absolute tastebud dazzling entree. Extensive beer selection, super cool atmosphere, amazing live music. Highly recommend!!!!

Absolutely horrible! First pic is the amount of fish in the tacos I received. This order took an hour. Took it back. They said they’ll remake it. The second pic is the amount of fish in the remade taco. I tossed it.

Excellent place for breakfast or brunch (or any meal). Had steak and eggs, which was absolutely flawless. The kombucha on draft was crisp and refreshing. The staff were very friendly and laid back, with no bad attitudes anywhere in sight. The art on the buildings is amazing…all done with SPRAY PAINT! This place oozes character and charm. Highly recommended for a chill vibe, excellent food, many beers on tap, and just a really good time.

Great spot to get food or drinks. Plenty of picnic tables and hammocks to enjoy while getting some sun, or at the bar for some shade. The water park in the lake right next to it allowed for a quick but super enjoyable walk. The food was amazing and the drinks were good too! It’s kind of food truck style and the food gets brought out fairly wuickly. We would definitely stop again!

This place is a gem, tucked a bit out of the way but with everything you’d want. One of the few spots to eat in the area, yet it doesn’t take advantage of that and delivers a memorable experience. Peaceful outdoor seating, super chill ambiance, friendly staff, and very good, filling food. Loved it!

It has that ideal Florida Keys vibe — casual, welcoming, and full of character. The food here blew me away. The quinoa salad was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had — super fresh with bold flavors, and the candied walnuts gave it that perfect sweet crunch. I also loved the tuna bowl; it was packed with fresh ingredients, and the edamame added a great texture and flavor balance.
What really set this place apart was the fun family-friendly setup — they had a floating water pad for kids to play on, which was such a cool touch. We even got to watch people wakeboarding nearby, adding to the laid-back, adventurous energy of the whole place. Whether you’re looking for a spot to chill with friends, entertain the family, or just enjoy some really great food in a cool setting, Bongos delivers. It quickly became my favorite spot in the Keys, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!
