The local pub everyone wishes was right down the street. Great beer, friendly service, top notch burgers and pub grub. Excellent place to get a quick bite or spend a long session. I am not a big fan of hand cut fries but these are crisp and delicious.

I enjoyed a delicious, perfectly cooked burger and a beer. My wife ordered the farmer’s chicken sandwich to enjoy. Sat at the bar and enjoyed nice conversation with a very friendly staff and cook.

I stopped here for the first time on a Monday night. Monday is the 3 dollar off burgers day. The burgers are really good, and the options for different burgers cover what most people will want from a classic, to a mushroom, to bacon, and a spicier jalapeno option as well. The burgers range from about $9 to $13. Hand cut fries are extra, adding about $2.50 or so to the total. They don’t use cheap ingredients though. Everything was crisp and fresh. The tomato was firm and juicy. They use Romain lettuce, thick cut bacon, and long slices of pickle. The fries were really tasty, homemade and not overly salted. I wouldn’t describe them as super crispy but I tend to favor this style of fry over other options. Some crispy bits, some mushy areas, great for dipping. I selected a cheese sauce to accompany the fries. My friend ordered wings. They were extremely crispy, but not very large. Overall, I’m really happy with this restaurant. I’d definitely return on a Monday night for more burgers.

Awesome atmosphere. Good service. Even better food. No ( to-go) orders for after hr eaters.Rib eye sandwich was awesome! SUPER tender even though I ordered well done. Toppings on the side so there’s no soggy bun. The chicken wings are always awesome and crunchy.

I rarely try a new place and give 5 stars, but thus little pub and restaurant in downtown Peoria wad excellent. Cool vibe. Top notch service. Food cooked right in the middle of the place, and was delicious. Short drive off the interstate ..worth it!!

I will admit. I have been to Ulrich’s many, many times. Drunk, sober and everything in-between.

As you can imagine, Ulrich’s is an irish-themed Pub that serves up a great selection of food and a varied selection of alcohol. You want, you can most likely order it here. My personal favorite is their grilled chicken sandwich. It’s the juiciest grilled chicken I have ever had.

The cool thing about Ulrich’s is the grill is behind the bar, so you can literally watch the chef cook your food from 5 feet away… just be warned… if it’s a busy day, the single chef/grill does get swamped and your order can take awhile. But it’s worth the wait!

My friends and I used to come here for Burger Monday. I miss those days. Anyways, on Mondays, they had an equally juicy burger for $3 or $3.50. Not sure if they still have that deal, but it’s easily a $10 burger for dirt cheap.

If you pop in on a Friday and Saturday night, you can expect it to be crammed full. That is about the only negative I have to say about the place. It’s a very narrow/long bar, so you get a handful of people in there and it can be a pain to navigate. So if you want to eat, visit during the week night and if you want to drink only, visit any time!

I probably sound a bit biased since I have been there so many times and have lots of great memories there… but it really is truly a great Peoria, IL staple.

Good food at a reasonable price, and with a fun vibe. Staff are great and food is prepared in the bar area, adding atmosphere to a great place to grab a drink or a bite. Plus, it is a reasonable walking distance from the Civic Center. The ribeye sandwich was delicious.

Food was very good. Steak sandwich and burgers are fresh and the beef is tasty. Very simple meals cooked and seasoned very well. Nothing fancy here, but absolutely great place to grab a bite to eat. Beer selection is decent and mixed drinks are okay.
