I have not eaten at McAlisters I’d 15 years. Surprised by huge price increases and portion decrease. Sad. I hoped they would be above this. Food good. Service was great on a busy rainy Saturday.

McAlister’s Chili: Game Day Review
We added the chili to our work game-day menu, but unfortunately, it was a split decision. The flavor was good overall, but we got some strong regional feedback:
North Carolina Team:Wished there were beans in the recipe.
Louisiana Team:Found the texture to be too runny.
It had an almost “hot dog chili” profile, which wasn’t quite what everyone expected for a main chili. We think offering a “Bean” or “No-Bean” option could be a fantastic way to please everyone!

Service is pleasant, place is clean, and usually not too busy. We waited about 10 minutes for our food, but no complaints! I had the Reuben and my wife had a wrap. My sandwich was good, but nothing special. The corned beef was sliced a little thick for my liking, but that’s simply preference. I also thought it was a little drier than it should be. Overall, nice visit, but I’ll try another sandwich next time. Update: I had the club during my next visit and enjoyed it more. Mac n cheese is pretty creamy, a little too creamy if you ask me…and if you’ve read this far, then you asked me and I told you!

I went there for the T-mobile special. It took almost an hour from the time I ordered to the time it was ready. I ordered around 6:19 PM and I walked in at 6:33 pm and received it at 6:55 pm. They were all working hard but there didn’t seem to a manager on duty. There was food piling up and the cashier kept taking orders instead of helping the guy bag the food. The food was meh as well. I got the salad. The avocado was fresh. There was zero flavor in the salad. the tortilla strips weren’t crispy – those things you have to throw out every night because the moisture that is in the air makes them lose their crispness. Everything had no taste, just bland. The salad dressing was good. My very first and only time I’ll go to McAlisters.

Decent lunch fast casual style food. The loaded baked potato was recommended to me by a friend who loves them. It wasn’t my favorite but I have no complaints about the dish. It’s certainly a lot of food to eat which is nice.

I’ve been here twice since this location opened and have enjoyed the food both times and the staff has been very accommodating and cheerful. Really the only issue has been speed; it took over 20 minutes to get two sandwiches to go. Love that it’s made fresh but they were not that busy and I didn’t have that long to wait. Definitely enjoy the Veggie sandwich and highly recommend it. Hopefully they get faster as time goes by.

Since I work in the area, I frequently grab lunch from local spots, but my experience at this specific McAlister’s location was unacceptable. I waited 30 minutes for pre-made soup and a sandwich only to be given the wrong order with my name on the ticket. I called the location from my office as soon as I discovered this, and a gentleman gladly picked up the phone and listened to my issue before placing me on a permanent hold. I was on hold long enough for me to drive back to the restaurant and speak with someone in person. I finally received my order from the woman working the to-go line (Wednesday afternoon)—the same one who had called my name initially and handed me the wrong food—and with more rudeness than I personally could have mustered, especially had this error been my fault. These kinds of mistakes can happen, especially during the weekday lunch rush, but the way in which it was handled was off-putting, to say the least. Plus, a quick scan of other reviews shows that my experience was not an outlier. It was my first time at this location and will be my last.

Tyra and Mac were the best at serving and helping guests. The Mediterranean salad and grilled chicken sandwich were delicious!
Ive been to many other eateries in the area, but this is my new favorite! Also, good size meals for the cost!

Bad customer service all-around. 1. The cashier inappropriately conveys that you have a free reward under your account for a “free drink,” and asks if you would like it. Of course, says the customer, why not. Come to find out, that was untrue. Instead, the cashier redeemed the rewards you were saving up from your purchases with the intention of redeeming them for an entree, to give you the drink; which is altogether different than what she said at checkout. 2. Despite notifying corporate of the error, they failed to take action to correct and resolve, which is further bad customer service, and warrants this bad review. Customers beware!
