Delicious food and large portions (sharable if looking for a lighter lunch). We ordered the Elk Sausage Smash and the Fried Steak Smash and shared the pound cake french toast with ice cream and berry compote. Everything was really delicious! Great outdoor atmosphere, clean restroom, and just a short walk to the park make this a great stop!

I’m a big fan of corned beef hash. But finding a spot for this fan is such a big frustration. I have a few places in mind- but it’s like a skinny serving and somewhere along the line I wasn’t satisfied.

Country Road Cafe has ended that search. .

If you’re still reading I’m guessing you’re a corned beef hash fan too? Or just plain curious. Either way, it’s all good. If you decide to head out to Country Road Cafe it’s under their Heaps of Hash in their menu. There’s four different kinds priced at $13.95 and I’ve tried two of them(see photos): The Corned Hash Bowl and Bison Hash Bowl. All fully loaded with well seasoned crunchy potatoes and your specific protein. Topped with two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce for the Corned Beef one.
It was the best! Thick strips of corned beef! Omg! The Bison one was equally tasty!

For now they only accept dining in their spacious patio. Do this when you arrive. Order from the window next to the front door. Head over to their patio and your food will be brought to you!

I took home most of mine. Ate the leftover this morning and I’m still very much happy with it.

They’re closed Monday and Tuesday. Their hours are: 7-1:30ish ( their exact words ).

It worth the drive in every aspect. You’re welcome!

We have been coming here for many years & this place is STILL amazing! Unique breakfast and lunch foods that are cooked to perfection! They have unique meats such as bison and elk as well as traditional foods.
I highly recommend coming in the middle of the week as weekends are usually packed with wait times for over an hour, during the week it can be up to 15-30 minutes. At this time they do not take reservations but the short wait during the week is worth it!
This location is near several trail heads so it is a great place to stop before or after your adventures!
This gem is absolutely worth the wait and is a must for a breakfast destination.

If you’re looking for a fantastic breakfast by a family run business offering a delightful variety of exceptional food in a wonderful mountain setting, look no further! Service was outstanding, coffee great, and food was out of this world. I had the Starburst Mashed. It was delicous and the portions huge. The ambiance is a perfect match for the area. I could go on and on.. But why keep reading? Just get on your car and go! You’ll be glad you did!!

This is a wonderful experience. It is a quaint, little restaurant up in the mountains. The drive in is amazing. You have to pay “Cash Only”! There is an ATM on site, but I would make sure to get cash before going. The food is delicious. They normally have a specials board. Gratuity is included on parties of 5 or more.

One of the first things you’ll notice when visiting the Country Road Cafe is the generous portion sizes. The dishes were prepared well and had good flavor. In addition the service was quick and the server was attentive to our needs without overdoing it.

Went here for brunch and had a great experience. I got a house-made cinnamon bun that might have been the best cinnamon bun I’ve ever had. It was also the size of my head.

The menu options are LEGIT – I think they have something like 14 different Benedict’s as an example. I’m a huge eggs Benedict fan so after consulting with the server, I chose the Peach Chance Benedict (although there were 3 or 4 options I would have loved to buy and take home). The pork was well flavored and juicy, eggs perfectly poached and the muffin wasn’t soggy but not overly toasted (this is the real litmus test for a Benedict, ask your expert benedict friends, there’s one in every group). Hash browns were also well seasoned and cooked – I could have eaten them by themselves but instead chose to accompany them with the house-made habanero hot sauce. So good.

My girlfriend ordered the Green Chili Omelette and she also thought it was delicious. Eggs were fluffy and vegetables were fresh.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They upsold me on the cinnamon bun which j can’t hold against them, though I did have to bring half my breakfast home.

Make sure you get there early (before 830am) on the weekends as if gets crowded and you’ll likely have to wait otherwise.

This little place is a fantastic place to stop after a hike if you are famished. The portions are absolutely humongous and very well priced. I ordered the “Holy Cow” and the name says it all. There was enough food on the plate to feed 4 people and it was only $14.50 for that meal, and it was delicious. We had a 19 person group and between placing our orders and getting our food it was only about a 10-15 min wait. Overall, this place is amazing and I will definitely be returning.

Huge portions and friendly staff. Arrived around 9am on a Saturday and it only took a couple of minutes for three of us to be seated. A lot of menu options ranging from their specialty mashed smashed potatoes to hashes, benedicts, burritos, and sandwiches.
