Only thing that was decent was the soup. Salad had some liquid at the bottom that was suppose to be ginger but had no taste. Ordered the shrimp and salmon hibachi. Salmon was okay shrimp was not good and the rice had no taste. Server was okay. We had to ask for containers for our soy sauce, plates and chopsticks for the sushi. I will NOT be going back there.

The start here was pretty rough. The table we were seated at had a broken fan that made a very loud noise. That ruined most of the dining experience until I asked the chef to turn it off and he obliged. The food itself was delicious and some of the best I’ve had. Definitely good price and great food.

Where do I start with this sorry excuse of a restaurant. Not only are they extremely overpriced but their cooks must have never learned to actually make food! On top of that they LIE to their customers!! I highly suggest never stepping in or ordering food from this place!!!

I only come here to eat lunch whether it’s to dine in or take out. The dine in experience is nice depending on who the cook will be and if they have some humor/tricks to show you while preparing the food. The waitresses are hit and miss with being attentive. I stick to the Hibachi Chicken that comes with soup or salad. I have never been disappointed with that.

Tonight was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered the shrimp & scallops with veggies & rice. I asked for extra broccoli no carrots. The rice was dry & hard. I barely had any veggies & my shrimp was overcooked. This whole meal lacked seasoning & flavor. The waitress that took my order was very kind, but the food was horrible. I will not be eating there again and wish I could get my money refunded. Do not waste your money eating at this restaurant!!! It is horrible!!!

Our group of 10 waited an hour and no hibachi cook, the pepper/salt containers were filthy with black residue on them , the curtains by the restrooms covered in black dirt, they should be white, we left without eating. Will not be back!! This is not 4.2 rating worthy!

Where shall I start? Got there at almost 7pm with a party of only 6 (myself, my wife, our 3 daughters and my brother). 1st time ever coming and decided to try it since it was close to home. We were sat down within 5 minutes of coming through the door at a grill we requested when asked “booth or grill”. From there, we sat for an hour (literally) before anyone came to take our drink orders. By then we were ready to order with 3 girls getting antsy, so we placed our order. It took another 15 minutes to get our drinks, soup and salad. Chef came about another 10 minutes later. We got shorted 1 steak and when I told the chef, he told me he accidentally mixed it with one of our other dishes and “sorry” but we counted the steak while he cooked them and was clearly one short. No show was performed while cooking and our young girls were looking forward to that. Soup looked like dish water and had no taste. Ginger dressing was horrible. Rice, steak, shrimp and chicken all very bland with no flavor or taste to them. Yum yum sauce, worse I have ever ate and I’ve been to many Japanese steak houses. Sauce was bland as well with not much taste. Had the super crunchy tempura roll, VERY salty, that I had a hard time eating it. As I sit here right now, it is 9pm and just finished eating. Soooo not impressed, JUST got my 2nd refill on bad sweet tea and it is very hot in the restaurant. Waitress never checked on us the whole time we sat here until it was time for our check. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN AND WILL GLADLY DRIVE THE DISTANCE TO COLUMBIA AND EAT AT MIYABI’S or YAMATO’S near Columbiana mall. If I could, I’d give it “0” stars but that option is not available. Don’t waste your time and/or money here. For anyone who says this restaurant has great food, clearly has never been to a good one….
