My partner and I stopped here for a bite on a road trip and we fell in love! You can tell it’s a family owned business and they take great pride in putting love in their food. I personally loved the creamy green sauce, it’s got some whoop ass to it but the flavor is amazing! So good we brought some home for our family to try. Definitely will be back!

The word on the street is that this restaurant has some of the best Mexican food in the state. The menu definitely points that out with weekend options of barbacoa de chivo (mini ), pozole, and menudo. I had the barbacoa de res and it was rich with very tender beef cooked for hours in a family recipe broth. Tortillas come from a local Minneapolis tortilleria and are good. Rice and beans have amazing flavor. Lots of effort and passion put into them. Salsa has fire so use caution. Authentic Mexican food here. Great service. Has Jarritos soda.
