We absolutely love The Angry Butcher and come every time we’re in Las Vegas, a couple few times if we’re staying at the hotel or KOA! We’ve always had a stellar experience with the food from appetizers to entrees and of course desert! Service can be a bit haughty, not sure if that’s the nature of the beast or just the restaurants “style” but it’s been that way every time! On our most recent visit we enjoyed the patio, which we always request, and were treated to two fountain shows during our meal! We were immediately given ice water and a basket of bread, I absolutely love that! No waiting, no asking, just service! We started with espresso martinis and a bowl of the rich, decadent lobster chowder, no better way to start! Hubby had the ribeye (as usual) and I opted for a wedge salad and the short rib appetizer, no entree this time as the chowder filled me up! The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the short rib literally melted in my mouth. The grits were a bit thin, needed a spoon to eat them, but still had a nice mild flavor to let the rib shine. Unfortunately no room for desert this time but next time we’ll definitely have some bread pudding, it’s to die for!

For the price that I’ve paid at other restaurants, we were disappointed in the quality of the food. Service was good. We sat outside, so little noisy from waterfall but could still have good conversation.

I used to come here all the time and I haven’t been here in a long time. I am very disappointed with this place and unfortunately can never return. I came with a friend to see a Christmas display on 12/21/25 and we were able to get a walk up reservation for 8pm to sit on the patio area right by the Christmas display. While honestly the experience itself was good, I am giving this place one star because not only did the food come out lukewarm (which I attributed to sitting under the warmer too long) but they served me much undercooked chicken !!! I did not realize it until the following day because I only ate half at the restaurant !! The next day I had, let’s just say stomach issues, and I still did not put two and two together. However, when I went to cut up the leftovers for dinner next day it was raw with blood on the inside !!! I was so grossed out. And before you talk about sometimes it’s that color from the brine. Let me say that I’ve been in kitchens since I was a teenager and I’m old now. It was liquid blood inside. Our dinner was over $100 and this is a steakhouse. Unacceptable !! I will never be returning. I’ve never been served raw chicken like this in my life. My stomach is still turning …

5 stars, no contest! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We snagged a patio reservation and got front-row seats to the FREE show—talk about dining with a view. Salmon for both of us, with mashed potatoes, house salad, and veggies that actually tasted like they wanted to be there.

Drinks? The bartender hooked us up like a VIP. Between the food, the vibes, and the entertainment, we’re officially obsessed. Pro tip: reserve the patio unless you enjoy awkwardly fighting for a view. Cheers and happy feasting!

Such a great Pime Rib! The service was great. Bread & water served as soon as you’re seated. The patio view is beautiful with the Mystic Falls water show.

I had salmon on a bed of greens. The salmon was OK, but the portion was minuscule. The greens were wilted and not particularly fresh. The service took forever. For two of us, without any alcoholic beverages and a 15% tip, the total was $120. I will not go back.

My cousin and I came here to enjoy the Mystic Falls Park show, and we sat here for best front row seating. The employee at the bar is kind and easygoing. We ordered calamari and it was not too salty and not too hard to chew. The sodas were good too. I look forward to coming back to the Angry Butcher Steakhouse since it is welcoming and aesthetically beautiful.

Came here for a work party. Great atmosphere. Had lots of fun. Our server was very nice, polite and friendly. But he could have used some help, it was a lot of us and some of the orders and request felt like they took “forever”. But he definitely did his best. My food?? Well, stake was overcooked from what I had requested, but I did see others enjoy their stake. Appetizer were delicious.

Located in the Sam’s Town Casino Hotel, Angry Butcher is a perfectly fine steakhouse and a solid value. The small things can be better – rolls tasted like they were store bought a week ago and the mashed potatoes had no chunks – but the big things are fine. Prime Rib and ribeye steaks were worthy of a more expensive steak house, lump crab cocktail and French onion soup shined, and creamed spinach tasted fresh made. Chocolate layer cake a la mode satisfied. Service was professional. For this price, Angry Butcher deserves a visit, if not worthy of a special occasion.

Had dinner while visiting Sam’s Town casino over the weekend and had an enjoyable experience. Had the fried chicken, Rosemary potatoes and house salad. First the salad was very large with fresh lettuce and vegetables. In addition our waiter had recommended the honey mustard vinaigrette dressing and it was a big hit. The fried chicken came with two good sized breasts and prepared to perfection with a crunchy outer casing and very tender inside. Side of potatoes was huge and a good compliment to the chicken. Had so much food it needed to be boxed. My guest had the half herb chicken and said it was very good as well. Our waiter Mark was friendly and helpful. You could either sit inside or on their patio overlooking the large interior waterfall at Sam’s Town. The only slight negative was the inside of the restaurant had an “old” smell to it when sitting down. Was like being in an old house but when the food arrived you didn’t smell it as much. Management may want to either burn candles, incense or spray with something scented to detract from the smell. Prices close to similar type restaurants in Vegas. Would go back to the Angry Butcher the next time at Sam’s Town.
