Fantastic new Thai restaurant in Pembroke Pines that serves Halal style Thai food. Fun fact about halal food: the animal products are humanely treated and handled before their end of life final destination in order to ensure the highest quality of meat. I did not know that and this is reflected in their high quality of food. I tried the red curry, pad Thai and pad Wonsen. All were excellent and very tasty. The lunch special is a fantastic deal that comes with a spring roll, salad, soup and entree. All the side dishes were excellent and I loved them all. I will be back!!! Highly recommend!!

My first time at this lovely restaurant but definitely will not be my last. I’m no stranger to Thai cuisine, but I was completely blown away by the wonderful service, careful attention to detail, and terrific flavors in the dishes we were served. We ordered mongolian beef, maya fried rice, pad see yew, steamed gyoza, and thai tea, and every dish was better than the last. At the end of the meal, the owner himself came out to ask how our experience was, and that truly shows a level of meticulous care not often seen in dining today. Everything was fantastic, and this is a wonderful halal spot in the area.

I recently visited Maya Thai Cuisine in Pembroke Pines with a friend from Ft. Lauderdale, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The waiter suggested a few of their popular dishes, so we went with the volcano chicken, Mongolian beef, and drunken noodles. Every item was excellent. The volcano chicken was crispy, tender, and coated in a rich spicy sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The Mongolian beef was savory and perfectly balanced with sweet and smoky flavors. The drunken noodles were full of bold seasoning and had that classic Thai wok flavor that makes the dish stand out. Each plate had its own flavor and tasted fresh and authentic. Being from Dallas, where there are many good halal Thai options, I can honestly say this place was just as good. The portions were generous, and everything came out hot and well presented.
The atmosphere made the meal even better. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the owner, Muhammad, came by our table to make sure we were enjoying everything, which showed real care. The restaurant is completely halal, and I appreciated the Islamic elements throughout such as the decor, free Qurans, a prayer area, and a lota in the restroom. Prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes, and the place was full of customers, which showed that the locals really enjoy it. I would definitely recommend Maya Thai Cuisine and those dishes to anyone looking for authentic halal Thai food in South Florida.

I went to the other location in Orlando and this one was just as good if not, better. My kids are both allergic to peanuts, and the waiter Jeremiah was very mindful about cross-contamination. He actually went to the chef to make sure, which we really appreciated. The owner made sure to check up on our table, and was very genuine as well. Everything is halal, which is hard to find, and the Thai cuisine really hit the spot! We ordered Chicken Tom Yum soup, Chicken Pad Thai, Garlic Pepper chicken, and Shrimp Dumplings. The soup was outstanding, and the pad Thai was absolutely out of this world!! Everything was hot and freshly made. You can tell the food is authentically made, and I took some To go for home as well 🙂

The best Thai food I’ve had in years. I recently moved into this neighborhood and this place is the best Asian food I’ve had in Miami area (I’m originally from CA so I’ve been missing some good Asian food). Spice is no joke, medium is pretty hot. It’s flavorful spicy, but be sure to include some mild dish so your tongue can rest. Menu items I’ve tried are papaya salad, drunken noodle, and pineapple fried rice.

South Florida is having a Halal food boom and we are loving it! The addition of a fully HALAL authentic Thai food makes this restaurant something to brag about! The staff was courteous however there are some kinks that I’m sure will work out in time. Opening weekend with the hustle and bustle with an excited amount of patrons will make you pack your patience when dining anywhere, so yes the wait was pretty long. We were able to secure a table but we did see a few people have to be turned away.
Focusing on the food- authenticity without any kind of fusion thrown into the mix is important and this place blew us away with the flavor profile. We will definitely be dining here again soon! While the lamb we were served was cold it was tasty and it was more about managing the time of the other foods both items come out together hot. The Pad thai had the right amount of sauce and perfect on the palate.
Price- a little on the higher side in comparison to other thai restaurants but the portions make up for it. It’s a decent size that could be shared. However $9.95 for 5 crab Rangoons which lacked the crab is pretty high.

We were driving back from Orlando back to Miami and I was craving curry. I am Vegan and I called a few places to make sure the curry didn’t have any meat broth or fish sauce. When I called Maya Thai Cuisine they told me all their menu can be made vegan. I’m so happy I came across them because the food was delicious and that’s an understatement. The ambiance was great and the owner came to our table to ensure everything was good. He even recommended future options. Highly recommend!

My family and I tried multiple dishes and every dish was amazing and was very authentic! The service was very friendly, quick, and they were always asking if we needed anything. The owner was super friendly too! One of the best Thai spots in broward and Pembroke Pines for sure!! Everything was phenomenal!!
