Food was good. Tasted like a mix between Asian and Indian food. The braised beef fish was good. Coconut rice was tasty. Falafels were good. Tea leaf salad was good too.

On a whim, I tried this place with a friend. Then I had to come back the following week with my husband.
So glad to have come across it!
Food is so savory
Their traditional salad is great.
***super crunchy, sensitive teeth be careful
Tea leaf lamb was fantastic
Eggplant veggie dish was also great.
I had their hot tea after dinner, YUM!
Looking forward to bringing my entire family next time.
The service was very kind, friendly, and attentive.
A truly wonderful experience

Food here is pretty pricey and is pretty much fusion to fit western taste. Was hoping to get more authentic flavors. The taste of the mohinga wasn’t bad but was lacking the banana stems. Other dishes didn’t really stand out, but I love the service here. They’re very friendly and quick.

Our family really loves this restaurant! We always order around 7 dishes and each is amazing in its own way. The flavors are unique and the ingredients fresh. For vegans and vegetarians, there are plenty of great options. Can’t say enough about how delicious the food is here!

I had the pleasure of eating here with a Burmese friend, who did all the ordering for our table. Reservations were made because we had a group of 10 adults on a Saturday evening. By 8:50 PM, which was 10 minutes before closing, the restaurant was cleared up and ready to close. Including tip and tax, it came out to about $33-35 per person.

*We had one vegetarian in the group, and she did not leave hungry! Highly recommend this restaurant for non-meat eaters.

Parking: plenty in the lot.

Bathroom: available, to the right of kitchen.

Food:
-tea leaf salad $16 – We ordered two for the table. This was delicious. It seemed like a small portion for the price. (They sell tea leaf salad “kit” that comes with two jars for $27.)
-golden tofu salad $16 – It looks like mango! But it’s tofu. Very tasty. If you haven’t had this before, I recommend trying it. For me, I would rather eat tea leaf salad.
-paratha $6 – each order comes with two. This was so delicious on its own, but obvi the dipping curry/sauce made it more heavenly. I recommend getting one piece per two people if sharing.
-Burmese falafel $8 – one order comes with 5 pieces, so we ordered two plates. This was perfect for sharing in our group. One piece was good enough for me to try. The sauce was surprisingly vinegar-y.
-??? shrimp $18 – We had a red-colored shrimp dish, so I am going to guess we ordered paprika shrimp. This item was the group’s least favorite.
-??? beef – I am also going to guess that the beef dish we got was beef masala $18. We ordered two for the table. This was the most flavorful (salty) dish that we ordered in my opinion.
-variety of soups and noodles. The ones we tried were all good. I remember two of the noodles looked so similar because they were both yellow, but the noodles under the soup were different.
-steamed rice $2.50 – we had several bowls of rice that sadly went untouched because these came out close to the end. We had already eaten so many appetizers.

*Remember to tell them your spice level preferences!

We did not order dessert because we were all so full. It would have been fun to try their version of halo halo, par lu dar $10.

Thought we would try this place out as a option for something different. We were pleasantly surprised! Roseanne our server was delightful. She recommended all the dishes that were favorites and describe them well for us. My wife enjoyed a glass of Cabernet wine with her dinner. Nice that they have that and beer on offer. The service was smooth and we enjoyed our visit. We plan to go back!

My family and I LOVE this restaurant so much! We’ve gone for several family birthday dinners. We always get the tea leaf salad, and then we have tried so many different things and all have been incredible. And the prices are so good. Already can’t wait to go again!

This Burmese restaurant offers traditional dishes in a cozy setting. If you haven’t tried Burmese cuisine before, it’s reminiscent of Thai but with a more exotic touch. The menu is straightforward, prices are fair, and the food is both exceptional and authentic. The home-style cooking is delightfully delicious, creating a genuine ambiance. I particularly recommend the Tea Leaf Salad and the incredibly tender beef masala. Many of the dishes are perfect for sharing.

Food is good overall but not impressive. Particularly, I was not happy with their serving size – not enough. We four ordered four dishes – Tea Leaf Salad, Garlic Chicken Noodle, Paprika Shrimp, and Chicken Masala. We also ordered three bowls of coconut rice ($3.50 per bowl). No drink ordered. Nothing left at the end even if I stopped eating. Paid $102. I’m not sure I would go back.
