Food is great & authentic – personally I prefer their burritos to the original ones in Mexico! Love the vibe as well with mostly contemporary Spanish tunes playing that make you feel like you’re in Mexico. The outdoors area is very pretty too and perfect in spring/summer. Their drinks are soo good from the watermelon water to the piña colada. Just a great place to go, recommended!

I love going here – it is so well run. The food is always fantastic, they have some really nice soft drinks ( I don’t drink alcohol) and it’s really warm and friendly.

Visited this to celebrate a family birthday. The place is very charming and has good vibes. The cocktails were well made. The starters were fresh and tasted nice. The main course menu was not the usual one would find in a Mexican restaurant. And they were well done and fairly large portions. We struggled to finish our mains. The only issue with the place was the service. It appeared they cater a lot to takeaways and as a result their eat-in service was very slow. A quaint genuine place which would be even better if they manage to sort out their service.

As spanish as a mexican woman I can say this is a good place to come and enjoy some mexican food, food is very good and the portions are huge don’t subestimate the size of the tortilla. Cheff Miguel is very good and takes his autentic version of mexican food to our table! Definitely, you should try and enjoy some tacos churros and lovely mezcal! We come from watford to try some new mexican restaurants and I can say these are the top 3 in london area. I don’t like reggeton on the music. I prefer some typical mexican music unas buenas rancheras con la chela y los tacos!

Nice place with great food. We had a mix of tacos (Fish Taco and Pastor), tostadas (Tinga and Cochinita) and quesadillas (Pastor and Carne Asada).

Flavours are very good. I wouldn’t call it authentic but it’s very well executed.

Nice mix of Mexican beers (Pacifico, Modelo and Corona).

The only thing we didn’t like was the downstairs floor. There was a funky smell, after a while you get used to it but isn’t great, once that gets sorted it’s a 5 star place.

Came here for lunch for the first time. Ordered their lunchtime deal, 2 tacos, a side and drink for £12. (I think.) Food was lovely. The staff were fantastic. Sooo friendly, polite and welcoming. We got there just before they were closing and a couple of people came in just after they shut down for a while. The staff apologised but then agreed to serve them, which was so kind. Loved the decor of the place too. Definitely recommend and will be back to try more food soon!

Amazing place to go with your family/ friends / kids.
I had a pleasure to try their buffet and it’s going to be something special. The chicken mole is something I will love to have on my Sunday roast dinner. All staff is absolutely perfect. You will enjoy every single minute

It was fine. For mexican food I felt it lacked some flavours and heat, the burritos were a bit dry. Jarritos lime was nice.

Update: as per the receipt you can see I was indeed charged more for spicy salsa.

I feel reluctant leaving a negative review, as aspects of the experience were excellent. The food was tasty (compliments to the chef), the cocktail was well made, and the staff were friendly with great customer service skills.

That said, the portion sizes were very ungenerous for the price. For £67.03 (including service), we had a plate of 3 tacos, a plate of 2 tacos, a small nacho platter, a pint of beer, and a cocktail. There were no complimentary salsas or accompaniments, which are standard at many Mexican restaurants.

Paying £15 for tacos, I would expect 4–6 tacos with at least some chips or rice on the side to feel like a proper meal. Even a small bowl of complimentary salsa would have gone a long way. As it was, I left still feeling hungry.

For comparison, I recently visited a premium sit-down restaurant in Hertford where for £23 extra total covered a 3-course meal and 2 drinks – far better value.

I understand costs are high and businesses need to make money, but the value for money here just didn’t stack up.
