⭐ 5 Stars – Exceptional Dinner & Breakfast With Stunning Harbor Views
Visited: October 23, 2025
We had a wonderful dining experience at Harborside Grill & Patio inside the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor during our stay before an early flight to Japan. This restaurant truly exceeded our expectations.
For later night snack, we tried the New England clam chowder, and it was honestly the most delicious clam chowder I’ve ever had—rich, creamy, and full of fresh flavor. We also ordered the tiramisu, which was light, smooth, and the perfect sweet ending to the night.
The next morning, we enjoyed their breakfast buffet, which had plenty of options and everything tasted fresh. It was exactly what we needed before heading to the airport for a long international flight.
The view from the restaurant is absolutely beautiful—you get a relaxing harbor panorama and a cozy atmosphere that makes the whole dining experience even better. The environment felt peaceful and welcoming, perfect for winding down before travel.
I highly recommend Harborside Grill & Patio to anyone staying at the hotel or flying out of Logan Airport. Great food, great service, and unbeatable views.

the five stars in this review are for the visionaries, the designers and architects — investors of this “well appointed” property. not for the food, much less for the service. the hyatt brand and level of service was absent the minute i set foot in this diner. i was met with a shouting match as all i did was request to be seated at a table where THE VIEW was not blocked. what was i offered instead? the complete opposite -a wall- on a clearly empty dining room. soggy toast at hyatt? never! well, see for yourself. also, who drops a check the minute a lukewarm coffee is refilled? the place is empty, for crying out loyd. what was the rush? argh!
lastly and guilty as charged, never assume that because you speak a different language, other people are not going to understand what you or others are saying. it is rude and in a professional setting, AHEM! it is simply put, inappropriate. in all, not a good visit to their domain during christmas.

Food was great and not too pricey, we are from Miami, where is way more expensive .
Beautiful outside seating with amazing views of the city, especially night!

Considering that this is a hotel restaurant, the food is pretty good, but it is pricey. The $49 clam bake is very tasty but the portion is smaller than expected. The clam chowder is good but a little too salty for my liking. We had an excellent breakfast there as well. Don’t mind coming back next time we stay at the hotel again.

Typical airport hotel restaurant with regard to food and service etc. Everything was great and no really complainants just not a 5 star experience. Only issue as a tired traveler was it was very open, noisy and echoey, would have preferred something more relaxed after travel. That being said the views and location were perfect especially the outside area for drinks.

I had an amazing time at dinner last night! The service was outstanding, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. The food arrived perfectly as expected, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The patio, with its breathtaking view, is worth a million dollars—who could say no to such a stunning backdrop?
Whether you’re dining solo, with family, or as a couple, you’re sure to have a memorable time. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuine, always attentive to your needs and eager to make your experience even better. A true gem!

Great restaurant in the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbour hotel with view of skyline of Boston. You can see the sunset from this restaurant. The restaurant served food with specialty of local like clam chowder and other favorite American fare.

They had closed the patio because it rained. It would have been beautiful to sit out there and enjoy the Boston skyline with dinner. The service was good. The waiter even informed us that one of our dinners would take longer to cook. Something I’ve noticed post COVID is that a lot of restaurants have slimmed down the food options, which is good for overhead but it sucks for people who love food options like me. My only suggestion is if you don’t like breaded food don’t get the seafood. If they had described the food as breaded I would have skipped it. The drinks were on point. Overall a pleasant experience but not worth the $140 spent with bill and tip.

Came for the clambake, which is an all you can eat for $30. They had the juiciest lobsters, fresh shrimps, claims, potatoes, sausages, and some more. The view is beautiful with the sunset and a DJ setting a chill atmosphere. The service was excellent from Sarah and Andy was a delight to talk to, very knowledgeable. Definitely will be back.
