I’ve been here before with my family and had a good experience, which is why I decided to come alone for lunch today. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing.
From the beginning, I felt uncomfortable. I originally asked to sit by the window, but I was told that section had a different server. Less than 20 minutes later, other guests were seated there, which was confusing.
The grill situation was also frustrating. The fire was very low at first, then without explanation, the metal ring on the side was removed and the flame became extremely high. My meat burned quickly. I asked for help, but the same issue continued. I only ordered four plates and planned to order more if everything turned out well, but most of the meat ended up overcooked and inedible.
Service throughout the meal felt inattentive. My water sat empty for quite a while before being refilled. When I was ready to pay, I had to call for someone multiple times before anyone came over.
I came in during my lunch break hoping to enjoy a relaxing meal, but instead left feeling disappointed. I hope management pays attention to service consistency and guest experience, because this visit was completely different from my previous one.

Took the family to Gyu-Kaku in Valencia to try something new and it was great! We had a reservation and got seated right away. Our waiter Timmy was awesome and gave great food tips. Everything we tried was delicious, my family had a blast cooking and eating together. Definitely going back!

Very rude water/server/ manager whichever he was , the restaurant specifically said it closes at 8:30, he saw me and my sister walk in at 7:30 and the minute we get to the hostess he makes the comment “today we’ll probably be closing at 8” purposely making us uncomfortable so we asked if we were still able to dine and he says “if you want” he was completely unprofessional and rude. I asked for spicy tuna on crispy rice and he brings it with crumbs of tuna on top it looked more like crumbled tuna on crispy rice instead of spicy tuna on crispy rice.(see the pictures Ive included with this review) I’ve been here so many times and have never had a bad experience. He mentioned to the hostess that it was a slow day and I now understand why. With bad service it’s clear why people do not want to return. I leave Two stars because food other wise was good.

My first time here (also my first time trying Japanese BBQ) it was SO GOOD! Very different flavors compared to Korean BBQ. Our server Tyler was really great. He walked us through everything and gave us his recommendations which were all good. He even suggested similar meats that were our favorite at Korean BBQ spots. Would definitely recommend this place and will be returning again.

Hadn’t eaten here in a while, but I heard it just came under new management about two weeks ago so we had to go check it out. The place feels very new and fresh! Last year when we last visited the staff was friendly and helpful, but, it seemed they were having trouble getting the grill hot so it took forever to cook, the table surfaces and floors were heavily scuffed and worn out, and everything just moved too slowly so our grill spent a lot of time empty. It felt worn out. Today we went and it felt like a brand new business. Everything felt clean, sharp, and organized. The staff was at our table ready to take our order as soon as we put the last round of meat on, the kitchen got stuff out quickly, the grill was hot, the staff changed the grill surface for us as soon as it started to get too burnt (without us having to ask), and toward the end the manager came out to make sure everything was okay and asking if we needed anything. All we had to do was focus on cooking and eating, which is how it should be. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, friendly atmosphere, with good food and great service!

I ordered meal for 3 for 114. The meats are so paper thin that it gets burned and stuck to the grill. Although it is seasoned well. They had to change the grill 3 times since all the meat was on fire. You end up eating charred pieces of meat that disintegrates in your mouth. Great customer service!

The service here was outstanding, especially given how much our party of 5 ordered during our 90 minute all-you-can-eat timeframe. Our waiter was definitely overworked, and even had to make our drinks on top of bringing the food, but he stayed friendly, attentive, and was all around amazing. The food here is absolutely delicious, especially the harami steak. It was so good I forgot to take pictures as it came out! Definitely will be back in the future for sure.

We got seated at 3:55pm. Our 1st server didn’t come get our drink order until 4:09pm. We got the ultimate all you can eat for 90 min, which says starts after your first order is placed. They rotated 5 different servers during our visit. So we had to wait longer to receive our food but it was fine. Then 5:05pm came, and the waitress said it’s the 5 min call… but we had only been seated for an hour and 10 minutes. We should still have 20 min, and that’s from our seated time, not our first order. But what really bothered me was the note in the menu stating ultimate AND supreme gets one choice for dessert. When I tried to order the waitress says oh it should be separated so it doesn’t say that. I told her, but it’s not, and it clearly states that we were entitled to one, which is how we choose which unlimited to order. Even though it’s an error on the restaurants part, they refused to stand by what they advertised from the time of unlimited all you can eat to what they have as options on their menu. Why spend hundreds of dollars to a company they doesn’t stand by their word when so many others will?
