Food was pretty good just not what I expected. I think it just didn’t taste like I wanted it to. I had the Texas Rice trio and I was thinking it would be on fried rice. It still had great flavor and it was filling.

I never leave reviews but because of the AWFUL service we received I think it’s appropriate to do so. We ordered 2 tacos and the Texas rice trio which was mid. Before we were done eating the waitress dropped a box and the check. She did not ask if we needed anything else or if we were ready for the check or anything just dropped it and walked off & She never came back! Our drinks were empty and food was done and we still sat there looking around and had to get up and go up to the hostess stand to have someone find the waitress. Whenever she finally comes over, I told her that I still wanted another drink and then she could bring the check. She walked away, rolling her eyes and came back to the table and slammed, Yes, you read that correctly, slammed the drink on the table and walked off. We have been here a few times and have never had any service like that, but I can assure you, we will never be back because of that experience.

I’m only giving 1 star because I can’t give ZERO. Be careful when you dine here whether it’s inside or take out. My family and I have done both and each time they bring the receipt and you pay your bill. Your transaction with your bank will show a much higher amount. They are scammers. I went here and spent $70 which is a lot for Mexican but it was my husbands birthday. Upon checking my account they charged me $90+!!!! We will never be back. Disputed that with my bank QUICKLY of course. Same thing happened another time when we ordered take out. Go to Los Reyes, Cinco De Mayo, Anejos, anywhere but here. ZERO STARS.

Nice new establishment. Well appointed. But very slow, unattentive, and understaffed. No host/hostess. No bartender. 2 wait staff 1 bus staff. Waited for ever for a waitress. “I’ll be with you in a moment” 20 minutes later we finally ordered drinks. Then she disappeared again. Had to wait another 10 minutes to get to order food. Almost didn’t. But the shrimp tacos were rather good. But overloaded with cheese to hide the few small pieces of shrimp. Salsa: same as the majority, nothing special. Closing out was just as painful. Why wait staff hides out of view vs monitoring your patrons. Could be a great spot but time will tell. Sadly the one across the street isn’t much better.

I’ve always enjoyed the food at this restaurant, and for years I regularly visited the Central Ave location because the quality was consistently great. That’s why it’s been disappointing to see how much the service at this location has declined.
What stands out the most is that there always seem to be plenty of workers around, yet the service still feels disorganized and inattentive. Even on the few occasions I’ve visited when the restaurant wasn’t busy at all, it still took a long time to be acknowledged, seated, or checked on. Simple requests were delayed, and overall it felt like the staff wasn’t focused on the customers.
It’s frustrating because the food remains reliably good, which makes it clear that this place has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the poor service has made the experience far less enjoyable. I hope the management pays closer attention to what’s happening on the service side, because with the right improvements, this location could be just as great as it used to be.

To start off, the chips were completely stale. I let the server know, 15 minutes she came back with more chips a mixture of fresh and stale. My quesadilla was decent. Service was lousy, I couldn’t get any napkins or a refill on my drink. While sitting there, I noticed most all the employees were consumed with their cell phones more than serving the guest. Still can’t get over tricking the client by mixing stale and fresh chips, low budget.

I would have given no stars. I just came from their store a few minutes ago. The waitress at the cash register took my order and I put my debit card in the reader and she took the reader began putting numbers in – I asked what she had put in there she said her code and I asked her why she got very upset, I asked because usually you put your card in and type in your own pin number. She got very rude with me because I told her that I’m not use to it being done that way. She got even more rude and told me to just go ahead and sign. I refused to sign it do to her extreme rudeness. I asked for my money back and was told that they do not know how to give me my money back I would have to wait on their Manager. They said he was not there and would be coming – when I asked how long it would take him to get there no one knew. Another waitress told me that I would have to come back tomorrow – I told her that I was not coming back and that I wanted my money back now. She called her Manager and explained it to him, he told her to give me back my money in cash. I ordered two Trio meals (Steak, Shrimp and chicken with Texas Rice) which came to $40.13. I am feeling uneasy due to the waitress/cashier putting her code into the reader and not allowing me to put my own pin number in. I’m hoping my card does not become compromised, just have never seen a transaction done that way. I am very weary – thinking I might need to cancel my card. Guys please be aware of this type of transaction. I enquired as to why it was done this way but got no clear explanation. I heard that the food was good but I guess I will not ever know due to the great lack of professionalism.

Stopped here with some friends for a quick drink. The serve was ok the food could be better but I guess that’s not the point of the review. The kicker was the owner of the establishment I guess he was the owner older male Hispanic descent. We were having conversations and laughing he said because of how hard/ loud we laughed we were being disrespectful to the family. I really feel like we were racially profiled because other parties were doing the same thing talking and laughing very loud. I would never go back and I am telling others to do the same. Be made at Trump not us.

We got there at 11:05 and we were the first ones in there. The food itself was pretty good, but the service, not so much. I received something totally different than what I ordered, but I won’t complain about that because whatever it was that they brought to me tasted really good! ❤️ I asked the server for more Splenda and she never returned with any. We also needed to go boxes and ended up having to ask the hostess for some. Either the server wasn’t very good or she was overwhelmed because it was approaching the lunch rush time, but either way, I wasn’t too happy with the customer service part of our visit. The food though was good, hot and fresh!
