This place has GREAT potential. Unfortunately, it didn’t reach the climax I was hoping for with food. Where it lacked in the food department, the service was great. Here’s a lengthy one. Me and my husband arrived at 5:10 was seated right away. We got our drinks within 5 minutes and our food order within 10. Drinks were great. The appetizer we got was the fried ravioli and that was great… Minus the extremely salty Parm sauce they put on top. It sucks when you have to scrape something off your food to make it palatable ♀️ We both got house salad which was great. While sitting there I heard the server tell 5 people they do not serve ranch… Seems like a miss everytime. Ask your servers how many times a night ask customers ask for ranch. The owners may not like it, but your customer are begging for it! My husband got the fish and chips for $35.00 which was INSANE for pricing!! For halibut and fries… Yikes. It was overcooked unfortunately and they served this dish with a side of spaghetti of all things. Sorry but, those two do not mix I got the steak burger with fries and it was good, except for the extremely salty burger. I couldn’t finish because of that. Salt is great, but I think less is more for a few of these dishes. The shrimp cocktail… ooft… stay away from it PLEASE!! It is canned shrimp with a crap ton of ketchup and horseradish. The worst I’ve ever tasted!!! Good news, the servers are attentive and did a great job in the busy dinner hour. The atmosphere is wine and dine right next to a stranger … Literally bumping elbows with a stranger. I’m friendly, but the space is tight… Even the servers had to hug walls when passing. Like I said, this place has great potential… It is just not being executed. We will try again one day and if anything changes, I’ll update my review.

My Husband and I came for a nice Valentines day dinner and sat at the bar since it was so busy. We had tried to call for reservations two days in a row and got no answer and no call back. When we brought this up at the door, they seemed annoyed and said they had been booked for over a week. Which is fair enough, but if our call had been answered we may not have made the hour drive to come eat at the bar. Our server/bartender was attentive but seemed annoyed when we pushed finished plates forward. And we did not finish much of our food. We weren’t given waters and the old fashioned my husband got was just straight whiskey. We ordered the Poutine to start, which was fine, we ate that the most. Our side salads were a dry bagged salad with a pickled beet. I had ordered balsamic vinaigrette, but I got a bottle of oil and a bottle of vinegar. For a Nice steak house id expect more than a bag salad and making my own dressing. The fries that came with our steaks were the same as the poutine fries, frozen bagged fries, nothing special. I ordered the ravioli as a side and it was the weirdest dish. It was two ravioli on top of spaghetti with a super salty marinara and parm. The shrimp cocktail was the absolute worst thing I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. No one at the bar even touched theirs and agreed with us that it was awful. It tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup with tiny frozen shrimp hidden inside leaving you searching for the shrimp amidst the nasty sauce. My husband got the porter house, and I got the ny strip with scallops. Half my scallops weren’t even a whole scallop, more just little bits of half cuts sitting in a pool of butter and only one of them was seared properly. My husbands porterhouse was fine, but needed salt. My steak was about 40% fat and needed salt as well but both steaks were cooked properly. I was just dissatisfied with the whole experience for how much we paid. A nice steakhouse could at least make a better salad than that. Will try again if I hear better news than what we had.

This is our second time at the hotel and our first time at Barclay’s. What a little gems! The staff looks like local teens who are nothing short of professional without losing their youthful enthusiasm. The food! I was not expecting food like this from a small town restaurant attached to a great hotel! My half cut tenderloin was so good I didn’t want it to end. I kept cutting the pieces smaller and smaller to make it last. Totally worth every penny! Can’t wait till we come back next year.

We stopped in for dinner last night, and it was incredible from start to finish. We were seated right away in a nice big booth in the bar, drinks right after being seated and food order right after that. Salads and shrimp cocktail were great, the app we had was sooooo tasty and I will say with confidence the BEST Fish and Chips I have ever had in Montana. The Bartender was an absolute treat and so kind to our entire group. Just wanted to give the staff in the bar from 10-24-25 a big thank you and shout out! We will be back soon. Thanks for a great experience. #TheButteCrew

The best food I and my family have ever enjoyed! The customer service was so friendly and genuinely caring. Thank you deeply Barclays ||! We look forward to eating again the next time we get to visit Anaconda.

I honestly don’t know why we don’t come here more. The only reason I downgraded their atmosphere is because they try to cram you in there like sardines, but if you request a certain table with your reservation, they accommodate you, so you can have a pleasant experience, or else you’re rolling the dice of having the waiting staff and/or customers bumping into you – there’s also the bar area and booths. Obviously, their steaks are the star and I can’t help myself from ordering one every time we go. They have never disappointed me with the flavor and always hit my specifications. I try to steer clear of tougher cuts, as they can be chewy, it’s hit and miss, but the more tender cuts are always good. My wife likes to try new things all the time, so I’ve had the opportunity to explore their entire menu and it’s excellent. I have not had a bad experience yet and the owners and staff have always been so friendly, absolutely no complaints. If a Meaderville menu (Butte, MT) is your craving, where Italian meets steakhouse meets Americana, you can’t miss, and it’s reasonably priced, although no one would call it cheap, but it does have the Meaderville approach of lots of filling courses – you get a lot. They also have an excellent selection of beers and wines, along with a full bar, that pair with everything on the diverse menu, so good on good.

This restaurant had it all! My wife and I ate here for our anniversary and we were impressed. We both got the tenderloin steak with prawns…which I really recommend!!
For the price they feed you well! With your dinner you get spaghetti and ravioli, bread sticks, and salad!
The steak is so juicy and savory. The restaurant is very well designed, and fancy. And the staff are really friendly and helpful.
We will definitely be going back. Two thumbs way up!

Highly recommend. We were able to sit at the bar and the owners (we did not know this sitting down) but were our servers and bartenders. Over our wonderful dinner and drinks they were so engaging and answered all of our questions. Had wonderful recommendations for us. We learned the long family history of the restaurant as well as met some of their wonderful kids. When they say family owned, this is what they mean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The tender loin is amazing. Of all the cuts, my carnivore friends 21 oz tender loin is the one for you. Stout coffee, no heavy cream, but a decent alternative. You get all this extra food with meals if you eat pasta and bread. Looked good, but we just don’t eat it.
