Parking can be tricky since it’s in Victoria Hill, so anyone driving in from outside the gated community might struggle a bit.
And yes, as others have mentioned, the place can feel a little pretentious at first. But, if you look past that, the food more than makes up for it. If service is a priority, you might just want to get takeout.
Update (and this time I was calm enough to take photos):
I’ve come back several times and this place continues to be awesome. Wonderful “leopard skin” spotted crust that has a nice crunch to the exterior and a pleasant chewy texture, very tasty toppings (I really like the Diavola pizza with onion jam and warm honey). My advice is NOT to add more toppings as that would detract from the wonderfully constructed pizza. Good selection of cocktails, wine and craft beer. Service also is consistently excellent. Love this place!
Ordered two pizza and two appetizers. The chicken wings was okay seemed like frozen chicken. The salad quote unquote by my friend.Absolutely disgusting. The romaine lettuce was non existent. In the balsamic drizzle was overwhelming.
The pizza however was okay. Though we did find that for a sourdough crust, it did not have much flavor the margarita. The sauce was really good though. The crust seems to be about one half of the slice. The devialo? that was pretty flavorful. But once again, the crust took up almost half the slice of pizza.
Service was friendly and good. Food was really really mid. Overall. About $80 for 3.
My wife really enjoyed her Old Fashioned drink, I just had a beer on tap. We ordered the warm olives to start then shared two pizzas. The dough was fresh and had a nice, light crispiness just on the outside. Sometimes I find when we get this style of pizza from places, the toppings will be sparse. But we didn’t feel that here, there was a good amount and definitely didn’t feel like we were eating dough and tomato sauce. Loved the two we got (one was the Diavola), and we definitely want to come back and try some other ones on the menu. Really enjoyed our dinner!
I ordered the Diavolo and Holy Cow pizzas, fully expecting to take some leftovers home. I was so wrong. The pizzas were thin with just the right amount of chewiness, exactly how I like it. The combination of ingredients was spot-on, bursting with flavor. My kids devoured every last slice and immediately asked, “Can we come back next week?”
