Viva La Boba is a locally owned boba and coffee shop with locations in Downtown San Bernardino and Downtown Redlands. We serve high-quality drinks using teas imported from Taiwan and are known for fun, flavorful creations like the IE Sunrise, Mangonada with chili popping boba, and Moon Milk. More than just a drink stop, we’re a community hub—offering free Wi-Fi, plenty of seating, and hosting regular events like open mics, pop-ups, and art shows. Whether you’re studying, meeting a friend, or just need a vibe check and caffeine fix, Viva is your third space. Proudly founded by a queer Asian woman and her partner, both from the Inland Empire.

Viva La Boba is hands down one of the best bubble tea spots I’ve found in the area. The drinks are creative, flavorful and always served with a smile. I tried their taro boba and it was incredible, just the right sweetness and perfect chew on the pearls. The shop has a fun, lively vibe that makes it a great place to hang out with friends. Such a cute little place loved the inside and how it looked..BUT as we had placed our order we were told they don’t take cash. We were so disappointed cause we didn’t have any other payment method. We were bothered cause what place doesn’t take cash and we didn’t get to try their items due to that. Might come back but not sure yet. Wish them the best though. Love the location!

These ladies are rockstar! Always and I mean always friendly, chatty and beautiful. This must be the happiest place to work because it shows in their demeanor. I love this small business and will always support it, and in my opinion you should too!.

Dropped by again and what can I say? Another great experience, the Banana Cream Pie with Boba was delicious and the lovely lady behind the counter was awesome. Cannot recommend enough.
It reminds me of a small little college coffee shop where artistic and intelligent conversations can be had. It’s quaint, comfortable and a great place to just chill in downtown San Bernardino. The beautiful young woman behind the counter was very warm and friendly. Honestly a sweetheart with an incredible smile. She recommended the strawberry banana smoothie and she was right. It was delicious! I recommend some strawberry popping Boba thrown in for that little extra sweetness.

I loved this place. The brown sugar Boba was well cooked, and flavorful! I ordered the Thai tea w/ oat milk, and my wife ordered the green tea w/ oat milk. The teas were both not very sweet, which I liked! They serve drinks with plastic free sugarcane straws! And if you bring your own container, you can get a 10% discount! That’s awesome. The interior art is great. I love that they’re embracing San Bernardino with a mural of the city inside, and Mexican style art. They are women owned and the staff were super friendly! I will be back with friends.

I work down the street at a volunteer dental office, and dropped by on a hot day to pick up a smoothie. I love the fact that Viva La Boba promotes other small businesses in the area with their business card wall.
I came on a slower mid-afternoon shift, and so the drink was made quickly! Tasted as great as they advertised on the “Barista’s Recommendations.”
Being part of downtown, there was street parking available, but I’d imagine if I came at a busier time, it may be hard to find parking! Definitely will be back!

I don’t usually get coffee from them I occasionally treat mysef to a cold drink if it’s warm.I’ve been a customer since they first opened, the staff is always warm and courteous. I definitely recommend to friends.
