I sat at a high top in the bar. Very pleasant atmosphere. I started off with the beet & buratta salad. Now I like to cut open my burrata myself and spread it’s ooie goodness all around but someone swiped half in the kitchen. Overall super creamy, well seasoned plate. Main course was the scallop gorgonzola I asked for it over pappardella. Rich and creamy flavor bright sundried tomatoes and a wee bit of spinach.

We stopped in Pignetti’s without reservations. There was a short wait for a table of two. Our server was on spot with timing, making recommendations, and pleasantries. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great for a night out.

Amazing service by our waitress Kaycee. It’s been a long time since we’ve had service that great and she was very nice and attentive to our kiddos. The atmosphere and food were definitely top tier. We are from El Paso and this is the best meal we’ve had while on vacation in both Fort Worth and Waco.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. We are here in Waco for business and happened to find this wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious. I had shrimp with a creamy lemon sauce on linguine. My wife had chicken Marsala. Both dishes were exquisite. Our waiter was prompt and attentive, the atmosphere was excellent. I highly recommend Pignetti’s Waco.

Delicious creamy Cesar, really good bread, great Alfredo sauce. The spicy spaghetti and meatballs was as advertised but I like a thicker noodle. Service was top notch! Carson was engaging and knowledgeable about the entire menu. Everything came out hot and fast. Will be coming back again next time we are in town for sure.

What an absolute joy it was to experience the ambiance of Pignetti’s. That night we had a work function with a lot of people and special dietary restrictions. Vicky was able to accommodate our requests and the staff working under her were absolutely attentive, kind, and prompt. Please stop in and enjoy this location!

We had an afternoon reservation at Pignetti’s this past Saturday and left completely disappointed and frankly appalled by the service, or lack thereof. As a younger-appearing couple, we’re no strangers to being seated in less-than-desirable areas of restaurants, but this took it to another level. Despite it being Valentine’s Day, only a handful of tables were occupied. Even so, we were placed at a table beside the servers’ station and sink in the very back – so close that servers repeatedly bumped into our chairs – while plenty of other seating options were available. See photo. Unpleasant, but manageable.

What truly shocked us was the “service” from our server, Carson. From the start, he made us feel rushed and unwelcome, as though we had walked in five minutes before closing. He didn’t give us the opportunity to order a drink from the bar before asking, “What do you want for entrées?” and even slammed his book shut when I said I wanted to order a drink first then again when I inquired about another appetizer. When he delivered plates and silverware, he practically threw them onto the table – the hot sauce from the meatballs even splattered onto my face. He moved so quickly and abruptly that we couldn’t get a word in.

To make matters worse, our entrées arrived cold, clearly having sat under the heat lamps far too long. As former restaurant servers, it was immediately obvious. The manager checked on us before our server ever did, and when I explained the situation, he grabbed my plate, rushed to the kitchen, and returned with the plate just with extra sauce poured over the top in an attempt to warm it up. The shredded cheese didn’t even melt. He set the plate down so forcefully that more sauce splattered, told me to let him know how it tasted, and then never returned.

When our server finally reappeared, he was mildly courteous for the first time all afternoon, at least.

As locals, we had been excited at the thought of adding Pignetti’s to our regular rotation. Instead, we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. We were celebrating an anniversary and had been looking forward to ordering from the dessert menu, but at that point, we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Honestly, we’ve had better service and hospitality at the local IHOP.

This is not a bad spot. I do think, however, that it could be better. The prices are simply too high. The service, mid level. And the quality/quantity just doesn’t hit the high price.
I will say, I love the flatbread appetizer – still too pricey, but unique and delicious flavor combinations.
I ordered the salmon dish and it just didn’t have all that great of flavor overall. It didn’t have enough of the veggies or mushrooms and the salmon was overcooked and also a tad fishy.
My husband ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and it was okay – however one of the meatballs had a huge chunk that he literally couldn’t cut into with his knife. We don’t know what was even wrong with it.

Upscale, really good food with friendly people. Easy to park or walk to from the Courtyard Marriott hotel or Waco convention center. Fantastic liquor/wine store in same building with knowledgeable staff. Try the limoncello cake, I ate that too fast for a pic.

If are ever in Waco and want an authentic Italian dining experience, Pignetti’s is the place to go. The server we had (Chelsea) was top notch, very attentive and willing to respond to our needs even though the restaurant was extremely busy. You could tell she has a mind for seeing issues before they become issues, which is extremely rare in a server position . Price is what you would expect from a high end authentic restaurant. Food is off the charts delicious. Ambiance is great for any occasion, from a date to business meetings and everything in-between. I really enjoyed myself.
