Food was 10/10. I love the option for indoor and patio seating. The biggest miss was the service. While the servers were friendly, they weren’t attentive. Im not sure if it was due to the weekend crowd or what but it was definitely a miss. With gratuity being included, excellent customer service is a must. The host was very attentive. Checking on the tables often, making sure we had everything needed, and grabbing the servers if we needed anything.

I visited this spot at the suggestion of a friend after shopping. The service was great, music was on point, and the food was very flavorful. No complaints at all. The best part was the owner. He was very welcoming and had us cutting up. 10/10 I will definitely be returning. I had my eye on some other dishes I’d love to try. Thank you Auntie’s House for the delicious Sunday dinner.

I really enjoyed Auntie’s House! The restaurant was nice, had a fun vibe and good background music. The service was good from start to finish and the food came out relatively fast. Granted there was only 1 other family in there when we went but still! We got the catfish & grits and the oxtail & grits. While both were very good, we agreed the catfish & grits was our favorite. The catfish was well seasoned and crispy. The grits were flavorful and creamy. I highly recommend! We also tried their lavender cool-aid and the BBL cocktail. The cocktail was refreshing and had a good flavor profile, but the lavender cool-aid was a bit too floral for me. I haven’t had a lavender drink before so take my input with a grain of salt. Overall, this place was great and I would absolutely go back.

Shayla, my Dear, Bless you for the quick and amazing service while I waited for my Daughter to pick me up after class. The name says it all…Hi Auntie!

I ordered the Brussels Sprouts and General Tso Cauliflower to go—both absolutely delicious. The menu blends Cajun, Creole, and Caribbean flavors with fun names like “Soul Roll,” “Give Em’ The Blues,” and “Omelette You Finish.”

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, like being at your Auntie’s house, yet stylish with a full bar and TVs. The food smells and looks incredible, portions are generous, and prices are great. They also offer weekday specials, catering, and events, including a New Year’s Eve celebration from 11A-10P.

I’ll definitely be back after class to dine in and enjoy the full experience. Excited to become a regular!

Great place for soul food that is pork free! The oysters are so good too. I ordered the turkey wing with collards and yams and it did not disappoint! Wasn’t my first visit and it won’t be my last. It was nice to see the owner in the house and I appreciated his attention to service and to the dishes he served. The lavender Kool-aid is a 10/10. Don’t sleep on Auntie’s!

Met with a friend at Auntie’s House, to round out Black Restaurant week. The service was great from the moment of entry. The food was a 4 out of 5, the portions were great, the taste was ok. I
wish that there was a lil more seasoning & flavor in the items. There’s a kids menu, not too many vegan offerings. Gratuity is included in the check…I’d planned to give a lil more…since it had already been included, that’s what was given. There’s live music on some nights. This was a nice experience.

Second time visiting. The first time, the breakfast was OK. This time around the FOOD WAS VERY MID and completely tasteless. We definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

We ordered Eric’s Smothered Turkey Wings, a kids mac & cheese, and soul rolls. The rolls took forever to come out and were COLD in the middle. We immediately sent them back. That item should have been removed from my bill, but it wasn’t.

The Eric’s smothered turkey wings were tasteless and soggy. The rice seemed very old and was stuck together. The yams did not taste fresh and tasted like they were heated up from a can. The greens were very bland. My daughter’s kids mac & cheese was oily and flavorless.

The service matched the food. The energy was not welcoming. We were greeted with half smiles and attitudes as if they didn’t want to be there. Our server never came to refill our drinks, bring napkins, or check on us. Just a straight face and disappointment. She left early without saying she was leaving, and another server came up to us without explanation.

When it was all said and done, she put a friends and family discount on our tab, but it was not a discount of any sort. She said she couldn’t remove the soul rolls because she didn’t have the authority, even though she stated she was a manager, which made no sense.

An 18% GRATUITY was included for inadequate service.

Both times we visited, NO ONE was eating there, and it honestly makes sense after this experience.

PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE. We WILL NOT BE RETURNING OR RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Oh and I pics of the food that I uploaded here but it deleted as my phone refreshed. I took too long to write this review. But here’s a photo of my receipt and their DPH score.

The food was AMAZING!!! I’m a serial foodie and I tried to woof it all down. From the oxtail to the smoked wings to the banana pudding. Everything was on point. I will definitely be adding this to the list of favs.

Absolutely amazing experience at Aunties House Kitchen!

The food was incredible—I had the lamb chops, and they were perfectly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The hospitality was just as memorable. AJ, the owner, personally greeted us and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. It felt like dining with family.

And the banana pudding? Hands down the best I’ve ever had—no exaggeration. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we’ll be back. Highly recommend!
