If you’re looking for the kind of place where people remember your name the moment you walk in, Chincotiki is it! Kevin behind the bar makes you feel like a regular instantly, and that welcoming vibe is what keeps you coming back. The jerk chicken is absolutely delicious, the drinks are top notch, and the friendly atmosphere makes you want to stay until closing time.
On top of that, they’ve got live music, free bingo, and even a dog-friendly space so you don’t have to leave your pup at home. It’s not just a restaurant and bar—it’s an experience. Between the tasty food, fun events, and unforgettable hospitality, this is hands-down one of the best spots in Chincoteague. Highly recommend!

Looks questionable from the street, but go back there! The music draws you in. Informal, casual, welcoming place. Great food, great people, great prices. Fun outdoor environment with live music. You can sit by the water and take in the view. We met so many cool people there. We went there every night of our stay on the island. Kudos to the fantastic bar staff and all of the cooks. They work hard and care about what they do, and it shows. Shout out to Katie the cook and Beam (?) the bartender. Miss the place already. Thanks, Eric & Linda

This is a cool place to chill by the water. The crushes are good, although very weak in my opinion. LOVED the chicken wings, but all of our other food was just okay.. nothing special. Service was great, and we enjoyed the band.

Nice place to chill with a drink and listen to music. Service was attentive and friendly. Lively crowd and good band playing.
Good after dinner joint to round out the night!

Great place for drinks and evening hang by the water. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Best prices on the island, staff is extremely friendly and it’s a very lively atmosphere. Especially in the evening. Food is mostly bar food but the hotdog combo and ‘cauliflower wings’ were great.

Wife and I stopped to get the Chinco Tiki experience. Didn’t expect much, but the music was decent and the bartenders were very easy to work with. I had a Rum Runner and wife had a Blue Hawaiian. Both drinks were excellent and priced at $7.75 ea. Didn’t order food, but the view is great. Can’t wait for the roof to get done. Definitely a place to hang and catch music.

Such a cute place with pretty water views. Ample seating. Live music was great and the bartenders were wonderful. The crushes are so good and so reasonably priced. The downside is that people are allowed to smoke right at the bar. There were probably 5-7 people smoking at the same time. Other than that, it was a fun place!

Great little “hole in the wall” place with delicious food, live entertainment, games for the kids, variety of drinks, nice view.

Our first night in Chincoteague, ever. This is the first place we picked because the reviews were great. When we walked up, the employees were talking for at least 5 minutes about some really inappropriate things before I finally asked, “is this where we order?” I looked past them talking because they may not have seen us. We order, get the food, and walk back to our Airbnb. My significant other got a shrimp po boy. When we opened it up, it was literally just shrimp on bread. I drive back and the same girl just looked up at me and said, “what’s up” and I said, “you asked him if he wanted everything and there is literally nothing on it.” She opened it, rolled her eyes, said something, and put the “toppings” on it. Below is what we got after she added the toppings. We spent over $80 on takeout and it wasn’t even worth it.
Overall disappointed. Will not go back.
