Got here really close to closing time. We naturally thought “turn around and leave”. But, the bartender insisted for us to be in. He served us draft beer and made us cheeseburgers, which I have to say was honestly very good! Very nice bartender, down to earth, etc. The bathrooms are old so your not looking at fancy fancy. The place is clean, plenty of seating room and free parking. Nice place for a small group gathering.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on the road and will plan to come back even if slightly out of our way. The Philly cheesesteak was one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The food was made fresh and served hot. Service was great and friendly. 10/10 recommend!

Went by on a late Saturday afternoon for a burger and a beer after working outside all day. Probably won’t go back. I’m not picky but this definitely could have been better. To start with the drinks. Bartender didn’t even know what an ipa was when I asked if they had any. So I ordered a blood and honey from the menu. Nope, none of that available. So shiner it is. Beer came in a cold mug 1/3 foam. Now for food, I ordered the railroad burger. It was okay but the bun falls apart in your hands, so you’re just holding a patty. And service was the worst. I was the only customer and I had to get her attention away from her phone anytime I needed anything. And she was clearly annoyed by it. Otherwise the atmosphere is a little divey, but that’s kinda cool. But I am 6’5 and felt like a little kid at the bar. Either get taller stools, or lower the bar. Next time I’m looking for a burger and a beer, I’ll probably go elsewhere. Recommend you do the same.

I picked this place because it had decent reviews. My order didn’t come out right. I ordered a wrap and got a burger with a bun. The mozzarella sticks were icebox cold in the middle. When the juke box ate a $20 the bartender called the owner and he said there was nothing he could do about it today. I ordered a cocktail and when I finished it (before the appetizers came out, I wasn’t offered another drink the rest of the meal). The bartender seemed inconvenienced to take our order and our money. I’m sure the locals love it because there isnt much else around, but if you are passing through I’d highly recommend you just keep driving.

I didn’t have food on this visit. I didn’t realize they stopped cooking at a certain hour and is a bar after the cooking hours. My drinks were good and chilled. Not to pricey like a lot of places. Bar tender was polite and friendly. He also made frequent rounds around the room to check on the customers. His waitress was nice and hard working as well. There was a small crowd with upbeat spirits , not too loud. Just laughing and having a good time listening to music and joking around. Couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere whether alone or in a group. Place was very clean.
As for the 5 stars for the food, it’s because my drinks were good. I happen to know from a couple of past visits that the food is great! Would highly recommend this place. It’s well worth going out of your way to dine at this small time establishment.

This is gonna be the closest place to drinking at home you will find. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. Food is better then any restaurant around the area. you can have a great meal, good conversation and watch the game. If your able to , I would definitely stop in for a cold one and great burger.

What better place could a small texas town ask for!! Food is always amazing, beers are cold and average priced, lyndsey the bartender is quick and very accommodating to everyone’s needs, the atmosphere is perfect and they even have a back patio area out back to chill at! Owner is a nice guy as well! Worth the drive for a night out in a small texas town.
